When you're doing the c-set, don't spin it too fast. I know that this is a while after you asked, but being a cadet myself I attempted this for so long, and I got it. After you catch it, slow it down a bit, any move you do beyond that point becomes so much easier.

awesome! this seems great to me; i'll have to get back to you on effectiveness because I wont have access to a rifle until tomorrow but the move definitely makes more sense than when i was only watching it. :)

I'm having trouble learning this because before I learned this I learned how to do back spins and full/power back spins, which have you doing this but catching it half a rotation earlier than the C-Set. So my problem is that I can't stop myself from catching it that half rotation earlier because I'm so used to it. I really need help on this :P

Also, when you explain, you say it is almost pure right hand. I get better points being judged when I spin it out of my left and transition into the Rising sun single hand to fire knives then to a rising sun and exit. Or are you saying while you are learning it you should use your right hand only?
Do you have a video where you command a team in regulation drill?
I keep hitting the back of my right arm when I do this. What am I doing wrong?

I really want to know rising sun and falling moon. Most of the pros in my unit are juniors and seniors. Most of them are leaving, and I'm the best of the rookies and I'd really appreciate some help and new moves to teach my crew ! Thanks !

I'm having trouble, I can't seem how to catch it right. I put my hand in the exact position but it's mostly the rifle. instead of the rifle going sling side down it goes sling side up, if anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong it would be greatly appreciated
