It is a lightweight semi-transparent mineral sunscreen that provides broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection while boosting the skin’s moisture barrier and protecting the skin from additional environmental stressors. Sun Barrier Broad Spectrum SPF 50 PA++++ Mineral Sunscreen contains antioxidants including tetrahydrocurcuminoids, standardized molecules from turmeric root, that scavenge free radicals, reduce irritation, and increase skin brightness.

I’m so happy you finally released a sunscreen! I absolutely LOVE that you clarify that this sunscreen may not work on all skin tones instead of lying like most skincare brands about the white cast. That’s so rare to see and I’m glad you can actually admit it. Keep being transparent like this, it’s unfortunately a rarity in the beauty industry. You have a solid skincare line that deserves all the praise in the world, and your brand’s code of ethics truly understands the consumer base.

Pass for me because my light-medium latinx skin always shows a cast, BUT I love the idea of having multiple to push people to use sunscreen as more options exist for everyone!

You are very informative and very straightforward and open. I find that skin care brands RUclips’s have such short and uninformative videos and they are useless to me. This tells me a lot of how I might like this product and how it might feel on my skin. I’ve used a ton of sunscreens so it’s rare that I’m feeling this good about trying a new one. I wear a lot of sunscreen so I’m not new to this game but I think those that are will find this informative and useful!

Love love LOVE Prequel! It is the best skincare I have ever used! I am very thankful for it. It far exceeds what is available in the drugstore or at high-end skin clinics. Absolutely the best! I love the cleanser and the vitamin C especially.
This sunscreen is a lie, this is not mineral, this has butiloctyl salicitate which is an unregulated chemical filter very similar to octinoxate. Michelle beauty lab mugging explains about it. Stop lying. This is why you get the PA ++++ without giving a white cast because she uses less zinc and a lot of this filter.
While normally I prefer chemical sunscreens, when my skin is irritated, even some korean chemical sunscreens can be irritating to my skin; so that's when I'll opt for a mineral sunscreen. My skin rarely ever gets mad at those. I've wanted to try out all your products for a while, but I think this is the one I'm the most excited for!!

I tried it today 😮. oh my gosh, im absolutely floored. i’m 63 and spend hundreds every year searching for my sunscreen. i keep going back to skin1004 centella & beauty of josen . they are ok but i need and like iron oxides for pigmentation. It’s so nice!! i had too many layers of serums under it and got some pilling but when i reapplied later it was perfect!!! Thank you!! i’m so happy with it! ❤

Hi Sam, I love this sunscreen and it works so well for my skin! Thank you! Could you please do a video breaking down Butyloctyl Salicylate? I see so many comments online about how this is a chemical sunscreen component (being sneakily put into mineral sunscreens). I feel like there's a lot of misinformation about it and I would love to hear you explain it. Your videos are so easy to understand and they help me make great skincare purchases.

Pleaseeeeeeee make a sweat resistant sunscreen ❤ 🙏🏼 in the summer I sweat SO much and sunscreens come off more easily and i have to reapply so much. I mainly use Japanese sunscreen as of right now because they have “sweat proof” sunscreens and LOVE them

Thanks....I don't know why creators don't mention that Titanium Dioxide doesn't stop all the UVA Rays, and Zinc Oxide is far preferable. Glad you used this instead of titanium dioxide.

I have a question, if sunscreens absorb UV radiation, how do we get Vit D from the sun? or suncreens allows vit D from the sun to be absorbed to our skin.?
I have just ordered the sunscreen since my friend is in the USA right now and will bring it home with her. With The cost of Duty ( 28.00) extra is just to much to have it shipped to Canada. Hopefully some day that will be covered.

You know what ,for a mineral sunscreen i think with the formulation you've tried your best to minimize the whitecast on deeper skin tones , and i prefer that zinc oxides reflect aun rays ,so i will purchase this but layer makeup on top to cover the ashiness

I recently heard that if you struggle with brown spots, the best sunscreen is tinted. Not sure why… but wondering if this is true.
I don’t have many wrinkles, but brown spots are my biggest issue..plus I have already had 2 skin cancer surgeries on my face, so sunscreen is a non-negotiable.

I have a question about one of the ingredients- on those sites that check products for pore clogging ingredients, it has Diisooctyl Succinate listed as an issue. Is that ingredients formulated in some specific way to make it non comedogenic in this sunscreen? i’m confused because online there is so much conflicting information. if you get a chance to answer- thank you!

Is this sunscreen water resistant/ waterproof? And if so, for how long?
Has this sunscreen been tested for pilling with your lucent-c serum? I just received mine yesterday and was so excited to try it! But I applied it over my timeless 20% vitamin c serum and it pilled HORRIBLY! I wanted to love it but I’d also really love to be able to continue using a vitamin c serum in the morning.
When is the Gleanser getting restocked?
I think this might work for me because most sunscreens irritate my skin, so all the soothing ingredients might prevent that
