  • I organized my small antenna farm by mounting multiple antennas to one mast and then re-worked my entry panel and shack ground.

    You can combine multiple antennas onto one mast to conserve space, but do it cautiously. I also re-explore my ham shack grounding at my entry panel.

    They say not to have any wires run parallel past the surge arrestors. They worry that the non-arrested wires flashover to the "protected" lines. They make surge arrestor boxes you can run remote/control type wires through (terminal style, for single conductord or non-coaxial lines). I have one that's 4 wires in, 4 wires out, but they likely make larger ones.
