Fan dipoles are a very good antenna. You can use them for either a flat-top or an inverted V. When tuned properly, they work effectively.

Did your Fan Dipole work well?

Yes, considering I converted it back to a single band, 40 meters. I have made contacts 2,000 miles, (2,200 Km.)
