Hi everyone! If you had to start all over again and you had a budget of €200 (or the amount that converts into €200 in your currency), how would you spend it? (I used the lowest discounted prices I could find available in the Netherlands. The major perfume stores in NL often have 25% off retail price sales and I also used prices from reliable discount webshops.)

Mercari just hit us with a ton of new fees for buyers and eliminated seller fees so I rarely buy on Mercari anymore. They tack on at least $10 extra from the listed price now.

LOVE Poison. My mom and I used to share good perfumes and we both loved this, as well as Clinique Aromatics Elixir and Dune. Every year at Xmas my dad would buy a bottle of Chanel No. 5 for my mom; it was her signature scent. Took her a year to go through a bottle and she and I would spend our last dime on fragrance!
Love Angel also ❤ I have the original, the summer Croisiere with fig and 2 bottles of the Liquor version, 1 sealed for the future as it's my favorite.
U have to get Mauboussin. The original one in the purple n silver box. ❤
Iloooove Hypnotic poison too it’s so addictive. I have the newest release and the body lotion. My bottle has sat for a couple of months and has improved in strength but still a very soft fragrance. I always remember it being a strong scent in the past.
I love it too... Also had the same problem. Also bought the bottle 2 months ago, and it is slightly stronger now, but it does not last on me beyond 1h...
TOCCA’S Collette in big bottle, Miss Dior , Vanilla Mod by Grande, and one cheapo one has many of the same notes in different order as Vanilla Mod but also has apple and mandarin and a little more musk in the base. That one I have loved for years and I gatekeep and get from Belgium and France. 😊. I like ones that are easy to wear every day and any day, even if I have a migraine. I wear them to help me refocus myself on my work and errands, and to help me sleep more deeply at night.
I’d go : Yes I am Bloom up, by Cacharel, Burberry Her Elixir, D&G The Only One, and cheapy which is Blue Summer, by Adopt (bergamot, green tea, driftwood) that I spray on my pillow each night and use during summer :)
I think I would find Givenchy LInterdit for under 80, Chanel chance eu tendre 50ml for 70 and D&G light blue or light blue intense for the rest.

Which brings my total to $203, but I usually have some discount codes and coupons that I can find online that'll shave a few dollars off.

This is actually a hard one lol harder than top 5s or 10s. I would only be able to fit 3 that make sense and can be found discounted with even more affordable smaller-sized options. So Mancera Instant Crush, JHAG Superdose, and lastly between MJ Perfect or NR for her edp which may not work in warmth because of the patchouli. So last is Marc Jacobs Perfect. This is me using 200 euros that gives me a little more in US dollars at 217 😅.
What if you could only have 3 perfumes - no budget?
I like light blue but it never lasts more than 30 minutes on me. I started layering it with sol bum bum. I won’t repurchase though.
I would get og L'interdit, armani Si intense 2019 version , Burberry Goddes and Valentino Born in Roma intense 😅

2) Amalfi Sunray Zara - 30 eur/ 100ml,
3) A-men Mugler - 40 eur/40 ml,
4) L'eau par Kenzo pour Homme Kenzo - 50 eur/100 ml,
5) some not so expensive patchouli and/or osmanthus, maybe from Molinard or Fleur de Patchouli Zara, maybe some smaller decants...
For me it would be :
Fragonnard "Belle de Nuit" 120ml for 69€
Billie Eilish "Eilish" 30ml for 39.99€
And Mancera "Amore Cafe" 60ml for 99€

Wow this is hard and a realistic challenge. My favorite perfume is gris charnel which would use up the entire budget. So I’d get a 10 ml.

For me it's going to be Poison Girl EdP for Fall/Winter (small 30ml bottle available 75USD where I come from)
and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EdP for Spring/Summer (50ml bottle available at 105USD)
and hey, because I still got 20USD left to 'splurge' I'll also get myself the Nivea EdT for low key kind of days.
I could absolutely roll for at least a year with those alone. Poison Girl is so nuclear, you don't really need much at all and it lasts forever. Eau Tendre may not be as strong, but I never felt regretful or like I should have picked something else when I walk out in Spring/Summer wearing it. The Nivea EdT is just great low-key for office, days at home or any day you don't want to wear anything too perfume-y

Smells like root beer to me too. I like Acqua Di Parma Mandorlo di Scicilia even more. It’s stronger, last longer and projects better.

I hated it…. Something in there bothered me so much. I gave it to one of my friend, I even used it for my sheets but I just couldn’t. Usually if I am not enjoying a perfume I use them for the house or sheets… but so far 3 perfumes that I couldn’t stand were pure poison, I don’t know what from DS durga and Erba Pura from Xerjoff. I gave « I don’t what to my son » but I couldn’t stand it even on him.
