Don't know what it is that makes Meute's music so special and infectious. I'm a 68 yr old sitting here in Vancouver bopping along to this with all the younger folk. Love this band!!
we only truly know our own struggles. in a rich persons mind they could wash a pair of jeans in the wrong load and it could be "the worst day of their life" in a poor persons mind loosing their home could be "the worst day of their life". its all a matter of perspective. @@DeNilsPipe
I was there that day in Amsterdam. I had never heard about Meute before, i was just walking around the streets of Amsterdam and followed the music. I'll tell you what, the vibe, the people and the music was indescribable. From that day on, i was hooked :)
The different age groups in the crowd and the way their happiness all echoes the enthusiasm and tension within the band kills me. Music can make us realize we’re all here, even when watching through a screen.
Ive had that "what if thoughts" and I thought what Id do if I ever saw them in person not performing and my first thought would be to make "that face" to him as silent appreciation gesture. Lol😂😂
He was the only one who was vibin´ WITH that beautiful brunette woman for a moment around 6:42. All the other people were just vibin on their own (#lockdownvibin´). He was outstanding in that way 👏
I think he's associated with the band. He's in at least one of their other videos -- I want to say the one filmed in San Francisco, but I don't remember. If he is with the band, that means he gets to vibe whenever he wants -- nice life! 😃 Edit: Hmm, looks like I'm wrong about that. I watched the video I suggested (Loss of Hope) and there's a guy in a pale sweatshirt who looks vaguely like Jean Jacket Guy and dances in a similar way, but I'm pretty sure it's a different guy.
They are amazing but I do think they prob have a click track in those ear pieces - not taking anything away but it would otherwise be incredible as you said to be that tight
To me as a non- musician it seems so stunning how they all hold their own rhythms against the differing beats joining in. Creates suspense and harmony at once!
I’m a guy in my early 40s in Ohio. I don’t cry at funerals, I never get emotional, but every so often I’ll watch this video and weep like a baby with joy at how happy everyone is both performing and enjoying this music. This is the best. And to come to the comments and see people from all over the world enjoying it gives me hope for the future. Thanks for this!
why would any adult be on that app still.. yikes. do deeper research or ask a tech friend... shorts is better also at recommendations, because they did the algo before anyone
My god this just hits home so hard. Watched this over and over and get tears everytime. I feel this all over my body, rarely felt such strong emotions from listening to music. Thank you for your music!
This crowd every one is dancing to this it's truly amazing experience this is a Classic brass and windwood instruments really no studio basically air just amazing sound these people surround ing them are feeling it best music perfect performance wow MEUTE is there name beautiful!! 💯⭐️💕
How cool would it be if they could play in the middle of Israel and Palestine and everyone could vibe along together like these fine folks here? What a world it would be. • I hope they find a resolution soon so no more have to suffer on either side.
So incredibly great. As a German I had to travel to Costa Rica back in 2020, during Covid lockdown (what coincidence to the title) to have my favorite French barkeeper in Tamarindo telling me about Meute, her favorite German Techno Band. She closed down the bar every night with a Meute track. And now they are so known and I'm so happy to see them next year in Frankfurt. The world's too small for such great music.❤
The marimba player left all on his own to keep tempo with that weird polyrhythm... I feared for him. And then the slow, masterful release of tension that followed... It tickles the brain.
Und ich hab als Teenie immer gedacht, dass ich mit Trompete ein Loser-Instrument hatte und nie in einer coolen Band spielen könnte. Simpel aber genial arranigert, die Harmonien sind genial. Danke, dass ich euch finden durfte!
Lots of stank faces is a good sign your doing something right. Keep up the good work fellas. We would love to have you sometime in OKC. Check out out tower theatre, beer city music hall, or Ponyboy for venues. Cheers.
Dang, i knew I shouldn't have started watching this when i'm supposed to go to bed so i can wake up early for work. Now I just want to dance. Love these guys.
Yes there's still hope!! Music is Alive! What a great band...lift us all high up to the sky!!... to the milky way in fact ! Please don't ever stop playing....I am 62 years young and back in my prime as you can imagine during 80s and 90s i used to eat music for breakfast...and all day long, music was all around me,back then music simply ruled the world ! I can receive all the good vibes and the amazing joy coming out of Meute's music...it pleases my ears and my soul in an unusual, unexpected, wonderful, extraordinary way...keep on doing it.. don't you ever dare to stop,we all need you! You can see heaven's got a plan for us all! It is simply insane the mysical bond they have...the jam,all of those drops, that crazy rhythm coming out just to keep mixing with the beat...i simply don't have enough words to describe that glorious music!! I'm convinced that from now on we all should use the expression MEUTE'S level.
I found this song randomly as a reel in Instagram and immediately I knew I needed to hear the entire thing. Man, 8 straight minutes of stank face. Subscribed instantly.
As a lover of electronic music, I hope those who have never given it a chance can, by listening to these great musicians, at least appreciate how the additive and layering of sounds (which is a cornerstone of electronic music) can create such an awesome music experience, even when the notes are very repetitive!
I m so inspired with Meute, along with Miles Davis, Caro Emerald, Sade, Prince, John Coltrane, earth wind and fire, George Michael, Level 42, Peter Gabriel and so on taht i like, keep rocking
idk why but this is easily one of the best music videos i’ve seen in a long time, felt like i was jamming with a bunch of cool people. all walks of life. Much love from seattle!
Saw these guys in UK last November, one of the best nights of my life!! If anyone in the UK would let me join them seeing these guys again in 2024, please let me know, otherwise this 2024, I'll be going alone?!
It brings me to tears watching these people who likely stumbled across this performance smiling ear to ear while witnessing this magic. Such beauty and proof that digital music or AI will never be able to replicate what humans can produce in analog as a group. I can now die knowing the future of music is in good hands with people like this in the world. 😭 ❤
Seen this track many times, but first now I realise how long André is playing on the Marimba without loosing it at all. He is also playing it from 1:13 and throughout the song only with two single cycle breaks! Damn! That’s good work!
Restores the Pride in what it means to be Human. Which by all accords, is resoundingly Supernatural. ESP when the orchestration feels so hauntingly familiar.
Mans on the marimba is a god for that rhythm!! 🤯 this whole piece is so insane and goes so hard please keep making music for all us band folk that lost our way ❤ this is how we find it again, and heal our souls, thank you
the build up from 4:36 where you all begin to play one by one on top of the xylo solo gave me chills. i was completely lost in the moment and wish i could listen to it for the first time again. good job guys you give so much emotion with your music ! thanks !
This song was introduced by a much older friend that passed away. We had nothing in common but somehow started talking about music. It all started when one day he showed up at my shop asking me if I could play in my Professional PA some music from RUclips since he was not tech savvy or had a computer and this was his song to go, he would sing his lungs out lol it was until he passed away that I realized how much the lyrics resonated with me… Sol Smith thank you for showing me what a true friend was you crazy old bastard, you are missed.

Just watched these guys and this song live in London. Stunning.Stunning. Stunning. That bass hits HARD! Amazing atmosphere and crowd. Must see band. Trust me.
Danke, ich liebe euch Meute. Ihr seid der Hammer. Jedes mal, wenn es mir nicht gut geht höre ich eure Versionen, eure Interpretationen und ich fühle mich besser. I love how there music draws across the generations ❤
You‘re doing it right!
And you're not the only one 60+😂
I'm a 68 year old sitting here in Arizona getting into their music as well. I discovered them a few years back. Would love to see them live. ❤
That’s HOUSE music Baby! Welcome to the groove everybody, I’m in love.
We live in some tough times, but man, what a time to have music like this coming out so regularly ❤️
If this doesn't put a smile on your face, I'm not sure what would!
Tough times? Tell this to people born 1930... We live in heaven-like circumstances compared to ALL generations before us!
🎉❤🎉 another one again. 😂

Best of Electronic music back to Human analogic. We need this more than ever. Thank you Meute.
The drummer's face is my face every time I listen to MEUTE, lol!
Quite close, indeed.
Damn, same!
He has to maintain that Drummers Tance to keep the beat perfect.
Ive had that "what if thoughts" and I thought what Id do if I ever saw them in person not performing and my first thought would be to make "that face" to him as silent appreciation gesture. Lol😂😂
My guy in the jean jacket is reliving some of the best moments of his life and ya know what…same my guy, absolute same. This was magical. 🤗
I noticed that guy, too. It's rare to see the youth truly come back to someone older. But when it happens, maaaan, it's pure magic.
He was the only one who was vibin´ WITH that beautiful brunette woman for a moment around 6:42. All the other people were just vibin on their own (#lockdownvibin´). He was outstanding in that way 👏
Absolutely! Come for a great song, stay for youthful jean jacket guy! He has gone mini-viral imho.
I think he's associated with the band. He's in at least one of their other videos -- I want to say the one filmed in San Francisco, but I don't remember. If he is with the band, that means he gets to vibe whenever he wants -- nice life! 😃

absolute !!! sensationell !!!
Rhythmically and timing wise it's very impressive that they play together so tightly, so enjoyable!
They are amazing but I do think they prob have a click track in those ear pieces - not taking anything away but it would otherwise be incredible as you said to be that tight
@@PeterEllmanMD Obviously they havve a click track in ear :)
especially at 3/4 time on such an unconventional genre its just pure genius in its greatest form of simplicity
Saw this video. Bought tickets. Experienced this live last night in london. It was EPIC

The world needs music that makes us dance with strangers ✌&💗 from West Virginia
That is simple, yet profound.
Exactly .. we all just need to drop our differences and meet everyone on the dance floor .. maybe countries could have dance-offs instead of war? 💖
From Zimbabwe, Africa, and the this is amazing to hear pure natural music without any electronics attached, but absolutely beautiful ❤❤❤
