amazing!! I was reading a paper for a presentation that didn't really explain their western blot, super confident I'll be able to answer any questions about how it works from my prof now :D
Very good efforts, Shomu! One small correction @ 9:32 .. you have to load on native PAGE if you wish to see mobility shift of protein complex, not on SDS-PAGE
Quick question You are unable to obtain 100% pure preparations of A,B and C. However you can express these proteins in cells. Which experimental technique would you use to prove/disprove your hypothesis? Describe the experiment and the expected results
I M NOT GETTING THE ANALYSIS OF CO-IP CAN YOU PLZ TELL ME BREIFLY HOWEVER I KNOW WHAT IMMUNOBLOTTING AND GEL ELECTROPHORESIS IS . BUT IDK HOW THESE CAN ANALAYSE THE COMPLEX OF PROTEIN PLZ ELABORATE IT.
I don't think u need to know the exact structure to make a. antibody ... if u have a protein n u know what the protein is .. u could just easily make an antibody out of it by injecting it to rabbit or anything .. n in case u need to find the structure of the protein .. I guess X ray crystallography is the best technique to know the exact structure n orientation ...
I guess if we make antibody against the protein a.. n do something like western blotting we could guess the results out of it ... from the pull down method u are assured the ppt u are getting is of x protein complex ... n later while u are using antibody against a it confirms that its a interacting with x
You're really an increadible person!!
Thanks for all the content provided for the youtube community.
Greetings from Brazil.
Thank you so much for appreciating my efforts. Glad to hear that you're getting benefit from my lectures
Thank you Shomu! Your videos are helping make immunology understandable and even fun! Keep making the world a better place :D
Glad it helped

Clear and easy instruction and understanding. Thank you, Shomu!
the bio god never lets us down

+Adarsh GUPTA thank you for the correction

what's the false discovery rate of CoIP? And the false negative rate?
does it only identify PPIs in proteins that are part of the same complex? What if they interact but aren't part of the same complex?

as usual.. ur videos are always helpful. U have a solution to all topics :)
+Sriradha Ganguli glad to hear that
Sriradha Ganguli hi you have therd stage
Awesome - very informative thank you!
Thank you very much.
how can i prepare for gate biotech
Thank you so much sir............................
You're welcome
any videos on anyalyzing immunoprecipitation diagrams or coprecipitation
What is the use of Tag here?
To find out the fragment
@@shomusbiologyofficial ok thank you sir
we prusetiar your hard woork . if you can meak cllas for phsology of microorganism about oxedation and redox thankyou sir
if we do not know the the structure of PROTERIN (say C),how we prepare antibody?

how we know X actually intearacting with Protein A in PULL DOWN not Y.

thank you so much! love all ur video!
