My auld dad is in his 80's and is in the early stages of dementia, it is incredibly sad to see his memory going so much and the amount of depression and stress he has in the morning, and anger issues. I have started giving some Lion's Mane and it is helping a lot!
I used to be really forgetful and have very little attention to detail. Since I started taking lions mane a few years ago, I wouldn’t say it’s like superhuman leaps and bounds or anything, but I’m forever surprising myself with things I remember to do that I would have needed to write down before, or like remembering a bpay number well enough to write down later or foreseeing when something is likely to cause problems and being able to act upon it before the problems arise. I’d recommend it to anyone.
Julian is a cool dude and his heart is in the right place. He knows how psychedelics can help humanity. I think that there might be a tipping point soon and psychedelics will be accepted as mainstream treatments for many modern ailments.
DMT is next level. Not something I'd be doing all the time but it's definitely something everyone should try. I've never seen anyone have it and say they had a bad experience.
Love this brother… when I had changa I felt the feeling of dying and knowing that I was dead and I had a beautiful experience associated with and meeting my ancestors and seeing the world with where I am and live from out in the infinite darkness of the universe… it felt like I was just outside the stratosphere for a minute or two feeling and kinda visualising what everything looked like through feeling it as if my eyes where closed while I was in this different visualisation and experience 🙏🙌💙 I felt the ancient beings / energy’s and how they always want to help you by teaching patience and awareness through making sure you are scared but strong for having the guts to let yourself be taken and guided.. everything good or bad or whatever it is or may be that follows 🔥 till the fire burns out and we die… this is where we all will go. 😌

I feel content with both of those, I just found myself to be asking so much of the meaning and translation into my life. It’s so hard to translate the experiences to this world I’m sure you know.
Just a pointer here .. Syd Barrett died in 2006 .. and Comfortably Numb is not about heroin addiction --- Waters bassist and songwriter of Pink Floyd said that much of the song comes from something that really happened one evening when, in order to allow him to perform in Philadelphia, the doctor gave him a sedative for a severe stomach ache, which had probably caused by nerves. On the stage, his hands were numb and his vision blurred, but none of this derailed the crowd, who continued to dance and sing. And it was out of this that one of the main themes of The Wall came about: the disconnect between the public and the band. :)

I was putting off watching this video because I didn't know how Spanian would react, but wow this is an amazing interview. only 30 minutes in and Spanian is very intrigued, I would love to see him take on a DMT trip or a strong dose and see how he reacts to it and what he takes from it. From listening to the herbs he is already taking and feeling and understanding the benefits, I feel like he is a perfect candidate to explore the psychedelic dimension.
Mushrooms are legendary, the whole process, picking with your homies, cleaning, dehydrating them, having them in Tea and feeling legendary. Recommend take it slow first time. Also even foraging for them out in the bush is an amazing experience alone. Just do enough research so you pick the right ones.

The thing that I find really interesting is the claims of a lot of people in the psychedelic scene in regards to DMT and death . Just to clear things up as far as the latest research, putting aside Rick Strassman's theory , endogenous DMT does exist in cellular production but on a very small level . As far as a huge amount of DMT releasing during death in the amounts needed in the brain for a profound experience, there's 0 evidence for that . As a person who has done large doses of LSD and DMT, far above 400ug and also had an overdose where I died for a period of time , I can tell you that the actual experience of death (NDE) is far more profound, I left my body when my heart stopped and went to a light of pure bliss , a typical NDE that people have in medical emergencies. From there I experienced huge distortions in time , premonitions etc . This is a common experience with NDEs (near-death experiences) which is documented by researchers such as The International Association for Near Death Studies . In saying all this I will still say that psychedelics did have a profound positive impact on me . I just want to clarify that dying does not feel like DMT . I could go into how in some early cultures some people did use substances to intentionally induce temporary death and more can be found on this in the book Near-death Experiences in Indigenous Religions .
I met Julian a few months ago in person, top bloke, knows his stuff on plant medicines and shamanic practices, genius thinker. Kinda bummed he didn't much into detail about Iboga and the Manii. They are something else.. blow most other medicines out of the water. I remember he said to me: Iboga is like 10 ayahuasca ceremonies in one. When it comes to rewiring the brain and psychological patterning and addictions, Iboga is the Godfather.
“He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.” I think spanian is a good candidate for dmt , I was doing it loads , helped me through addiction and opened my mind a lot , most I ever did was around a gram in a week , probably not a good idea .
A gram is a lot, the last few times I used it I gradually used larger amounts, the first time I packed a cone piece full of changa, basically before I sunk the bong I was headed straight down the worm hole
@@doinksinamish5297 yeh definitely alot , shouldn't be doing it as often as I was doing it , mine was crystal too so presumably stronger than changa , but yeh about half a point to a point is a massive dose .
Cool interview Span. Good to see you branching out in terms of subject matter and guests. As long as you do your research, you can interview anyone about anything.
Julian is one of the most interesting people Ive ever come across. His book Revelations is fantastic and his Changa has done more for my mental health than anything western medicines have done.

@@dirtym8. fr bro lots of my friends in our early teens abused the shit out of acid now heaps of em have schizophrenia or bipolar or just in general all kinda fucked up
Nice video, I would really love to go on a psychedelic journey with DMT or Magic Mushrooms but don't know where or how to get them, so hard to come by this days
Syd Barrett died in 2006 from cancer, he also may have had Asperger's syndrome say's his sister Rosemary Breen, there was alot of speculation that he suffered from schizophrenia that mixed with abusing LSD is what led him to be where he was. I don't agree with him saying that people only really get a bad experience or have a "never coming back from" experience just from LSD, I think a huge factor is the preexisting conditions that people have before taking the substance and people abusing the substances, it's not the substances that are bad it's them being used incorrectly that is the problem and is why they should be administered under a clinical settting that is regulated with health professionals. There was remains of DMT and bufoteninin puma bone pipes from 4,000 years ago It's also interesting to me and I agree with him that it is a very hard thing to take them and look within and face your demons, but it's also hard to just do small things in normal life for people like go talk to that family member you don't talk to, make amends with an enemy, try to regularly excercise, try to be a nice person, try to eat healthy, just small things like this that we all know is beneficial but it is really hard for most to do. I think you can do great things on improving your life and the ones around you without any of these substances but I do think they can help you onto the right path but you still need to put in the hard work and work towards them improvements
I've heard a lot of tripping stories, and they are very exciting, i would love to try magic mushrooms but I can't easily get some, Is there any realiable source I can purchase from??
I'd love for Spanian to experience a dmt trip oneday! He seems like a guy that would handle it fairly well even know he is scared. I'm more scared of it now after 40-50 trips than I was the first few times I done it

If we are not experiencing it all first hand, there is a window or a middle-man inbetween us and it. Either we are following teachers or scriptures, we are following just another feeling towards the same thing that we are experiencing ourselves right here in this now, in our slightly different but still same imperfect now. When learning any kind of passed down information no matter where on the spectrum of truth it is ranging, we are by doing so un-learning ourselves to put ourselves under & add on someone else's inner stance, which with time are going to make us, our inner being, into more of a copy than an actual self. Life is live, feel, learn and re-remember and the life we live is the teacher itself, where by living it we should be growing into living books of knowledge, if we actually live it for ourselves. We are both the teacher and the student, as we are both the observer and the one who project the whole moving picture that we see infront of us and dive into each new day when we open our eyes and the camera is again for us, rolling. We are all playing a lead-role in a meaningless story called life. Meaningless until we give it our meaning & then we are acting as each others mirrors as well, reflecting all that greatness but also the inner work which we are taught to just brush under the carpet. So really, we should be grateful for all interaction with life as there is a teacher in absolutely everything. When breaking it down, all we truly have is our energy and together with our energy all we truly need in this life is good health, good morals and a fine-tuned instrument, as in us, to express ourselves properly with, in order to free our minds. let the caged bird fly! Follow no one who wishes followers but the one's who encourage you to live your life for you and to walk your own path. Only by doing so we'll truly know who we are and what we are truly here for. We have it all already & we need no middle-men in order to stay connected to ourselves as we are that creators energy...we are it. We are all born out of it and we're given a slightly different perspective to take in the experience with for a reason. So not to fall for false light. Saying that though, we can not escape what we are not first aware of. We are all god's until it finds a way to change the mind. 💜
Sid Barrett was the original singer of pink floyd , there early stuff was pretty loose , a lot of weird noises , then when sid left roger waters took over as lead singer , waters sung the song comfortably numb , from the album and movie called the wall
i think that explaining or telling a psychedelic experience with words makes no sense, it makes it such a small thing... something that no matter how much you want to share it and narrate it accurately, even in detail... this can never be understood by those who listen to the story .. given the fact that it is such an intimate and personal thing that makes the experience unique and different in the most subtle nuances for every single person, therefore it is impossible to share it simply by talking about it.. there are no words to explain those places.
This guy is honestly one of the most interesting people I’ve ever come across. Thank you Spanian for introducing us to this guy. Damn.

This podcast is quickly becoming the best and in Australia! Seriously good!
My auld dad is in his 80's and is in the early stages of dementia, it is incredibly sad to see his memory going so much and the amount of depression and stress he has in the morning, and anger issues. I have started giving some Lion's Mane and it is helping a lot!
FECO (full extract cannabis oil) will also help him measurably. Good luck.
Lions mane is a game changer
Who ever is behind these guest are taking the creativeness of this podcast to next level! Gets better ever Episode!!!!

Loving the diversity spainian is bringing from from guests always looking forward to the next episode
DMT is next level. Not something I'd be doing all the time but it's definitely something everyone should try. I've never seen anyone have it and say they had a bad experience.
How many amount for a person and how? In a pipe? Or in a joint?
@slexanderat-john8799 dab rig or crack pipe, in a cone on top of some weed but don't put the flame directly on the dmt
Just finished the best changa trip. Thank you.
Ok? How to use it? And how much? 0.5 gram in a hash pipe?

Great interview skills, awesome guest and great topic.
You are on your way to the top mate.
Nah to be honest he's awful and never stop running his mouth while saying nothing and talking over the guest
I can tell the host is under 100iq, he's not working with much upstairs
This was the most interesting podcast so far. One that I have learnt the most from & I think that Spanian has learnt the most from. Julian is such an trippy & fascinating person to listen to. What a random yet perfect choice of guest! 👍🏼
DMT is not something to fuck with. At the time I thought it changed my life for the better but it only complicates life so much more and leaves you with WAY more questions than answers. I promise you.
Totally disagree.
Without meditation and spiritual development integration with the lessons from dmt then it's hopeless.
That’s why you should use changa, control the dose without blasting your face off

@@marcelm-meatstatues8207 I mixed crystal dmt with Changa one time and it seemed more tame..
Had changa for the first time last week. Thought that shit was supposed to be less intense than regular DMT. Most insane experience of my life.

its the same as normal dmt you can just smoke it slower so you can make it less intense if you want.
@@Jyih54531 haha have you ever smoked both? They're much different, changa is much more gentle and slow compared

2 up 2 down for Mardis Gras!!!!
My guy! What a sweet surprise to see you on here JP. Your manager is a G Spanian 🔥
The knowledge you both shared was impressive and great to see you gaining experience in so many ways. FANTASTIC JOB.
“He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.”
I think spanian is a good candidate for dmt , I was doing it loads , helped me through addiction and opened my mind a lot , most I ever did was around a gram in a week , probably not a good idea .

Mushrooms helped me overcome my addiction and I’ve never felt more in control. 1 year clean
There was remains of DMT and bufoteninin puma bone pipes from 4,000 years ago
It's also interesting to me and I agree with him that it is a very hard thing to take them and look within and face your demons, but it's also hard to just do small things in normal life for people like go talk to that family member you don't talk to, make amends with an enemy, try to regularly excercise, try to be a nice person, try to eat healthy, just small things like this that we all know is beneficial but it is really hard for most to do.
I think you can do great things on improving your life and the ones around you without any of these substances but I do think they can help you onto the right path but you still need to put in the hard work and work towards them improvements

When breaking it down, all we truly have is our energy and together with our energy all we truly need in this life is good health, good morals and a fine-tuned instrument, as in us, to express ourselves properly with, in order to free our minds.
let the caged bird fly!

i think that explaining or telling a psychedelic experience with words makes no sense, it makes it such a small thing... something that no matter how much you want to share it and narrate it accurately, even in detail... this can never be understood by those who listen to the story ..
given the fact that it is such an intimate and personal thing that makes the experience unique and different in the most subtle nuances for every single person, therefore it is impossible to share it simply by talking about it.. there are no words to explain those places.
