54:53 I hate blowers. I’d prefer the rake, as well because of all the fun I had raking and bundling for my dad, like taking care of the landscape so he doesn’t have to. Also, I used the shovel in winter. I don’t believe that using machinery like leaf and snow blowers is hard work. Using a shovel for both things taught me about persistence and never forgot it and miss my dad.
I understand exactly what you mean. My dad and I raked leaves together, and when he would be overseas it was my job. I wanted to make sure I did such a good job, to take a photo and send to my dad. It taught me ALOT. Especially picking weeds. It’s tedious work to some, but I really enjoy it. I didn’t shovel snow though, but I would most likely shovel then use a machine. Well at least we both know that we ever get hit by an EMP we know how to handle a lot of things before and after we ever get hit with one. My dad was in the navy for 20 years. He’s seen things, and knows a lot of things. I am prepped and so is he. You know what else I miss. Human interaction. Instead of hellos and having small conversations with a stranger, I’m meeting the back of cellphones, and watching people do tik toks on a daily basis. I miss being able to just meet new people without being constantly judged.
