Nobody really gives A-ha the credit they deserve for writing some cracking tunes. This is one of them. Just a great song well written and performed.

Too many dismissed A-Ha as teen pop when Take on Me was a "one hit wonder" in the US. I followed their career as best I could. This song is a great example of Morten's vocal talent. Still love this group.
True. Several years ago the only song by A-ha that I knew was Take on me. I didn't really like it and didn't want to listen to other their songs, thinking that all of them are like TOM. I changed my mind when I heard Summer Moved On

Yep, just thinking he can do lower (C2) than David Gahan (who is baritone) and can hit B5 and some think that C6 is even there. But its not about the range, actually!

I couldn't be more agree with you man, I always thought this song was a kind of 'perfect song', and though it is simple and cool, it's not just that. It's that mixing between rock-pop and even jazz sounds well woven that makes it so special. It's hard to explain but don't think anyone does this kind of music

I worship Morten Harket like a God, or like a son of God as Jesus. A-ha meant so much to me during my teens, that I'm forever thankful. I heard about the church of Eddie Vedder. I wish there was a Church of Morten Harket, that looked like the church in "The Sun Always Shines On TV", with all the wax dolls. A-ha would be there, as human looking androids singing and playing all the time. That would be sacred and divine!

If you think his voice has gone you obviously haven't seen him live lately. He isn't tired, he's currently working on a new album. They wanted a-ha to go out on a high and not fade to nothing. They kept their pride and called it a day whilst they were all in good health. Real a-ha fans appreciated a-ha when they were together and still do now but also appreciate the 3 as individual artists who wanted to pursue new things.
I can listen to this song over an over an never get tired of it . Matter of fact i listen to all their music over an over an i love ever song . THEY ARE GREAT
