From the flames of the fire this wedding planner was found inspired by the literary character Miss Haversham from the Charles Dickens novel Great expectations.
This journal is absolutely stunning Karen. That cover with all those layers of gorgeous laces and appliques. I love the story behind it too. I think you're onto something regarding getting your mojo back. Relax and enjoy what you're creating means everything. The lucky person who gets this journal will know they have a true one-of-a-kind treasure.🥰
Nice to see you back Karen . As you know I’ve also lost my mojo for journal making . Im still making plenty of ephemera and sewing is keeping me busy . Love the journal TFS xxxx
A beautiful book, Karen. It’s so good to see you back and I look forward to more journals from you. I’ve been away from making them for a while but hope to get back into it soon. I’ve been acquiring some nice textiles hoping to embroider on them and incorporate them into my journals. We’ll see!😊
Thank you Sue not been feeling it for a while I too have been stitching and maybe use some as covers. I’ve missed not seeing your beautiful journals I have watched them for inspiration xxx
I know what you mean when you lost your mojo, making journals I feel the same way but I don’t have anyway of selling my stuff,so I keep piling them up, I do make birthday cards for my family and when I have to do the cards for the male members of the family I get all panicked I find them harder to do I guess I try to make them quite elaborate and not just the basic ones, and that where me out I do love your work and really miss seeing your videos
