We just picked up a couple of these at our local hobby shop. The boys love them, and played with them for hours. Driving big RCs in between while waiting for batteries to charge. Great living room fun!!
Yeah that’s why I got them to run inside, they do jump surprisingly well, it’s been raining here a lot lately and these are the perfect size to run indoors 👍
I was kind of hoping you might comment on their handling traits being slightly different from car to car but I guess they all handle the exact same? Couldn't help but notice the only different wheel sizes and widths so I was thinking maybe one was the slightly quicker option, & just maybe one was the most stable on high-speed turns, or even just maybe one was the most overall fun to drive, or jump??!?
Well I did talk a little bit about that in the video towards the end, basically these are really fun mini Rc’s to have around the house, just remember they are 60 dollars, so don’t expect amazing performance, however for what they are, they are a lot of fun, the only one that controls a lot different than any of the others is the monster truck, bigger tires and higher stance make it handle and control slightly different, like a mini monster truck would I guess, it’s probably my favorite but they all handle well for the most part and as you can see, jump pretty good too, hope this answered some questions and I appreciate ya watching 👍
The monster truck handles like a monster truck, the truggy handles like a truggy, and the short course truck handles like a short course truck. If you have bigger RC's you know exactly what I am talking about 👍💯
Cool video. Did you acquire the separate charger for the RC’s to avoid draining the transmitter batteries? Have you had any operational issues with these vehicles? What about TA’s customer support? Thank you.
Thanks, no I haven’t got around to ordering one yet, last time I checked they were on Amazon, it’s really not that bad, it doesn’t take a long time to charge, I’ve charged them up several times and I’m still using the same batteries, no issues, all of them still run to this day, never had to deal with TA’s customer support, so I can’t speak on that, thanks for watching!🤙
Hey brother B ! I am now picking up your video(s) wonder what happened 🤔, at any rate, good to be back in touch with you and your vids, wow a cool collection of mini me's lol, thanks for the share brother ! Miss ya man !
Hey Mel!! I was wondering if you were ok, haven’t heard from you in a while, glad to hear you are doing ok! Missed you too brother, not sure what’s going on with RUclips, glad to hear from you again, hope all is well on the island and thanks for watching🤙
@@rcreviews9894 yes, things are okay here on the island, and Im not sure myself whats going on with youtube as well, good hearing from you and you are welcome brother ! 👍🏻
I got to drive the MT at my local hobby shop, it was fun driving it up and down the aisles. And the built-in charger is very convenient for fast charging on-the-go 👍
Got one, reviewed it. Sadly, the MT28 I got has no torque. It will jump just like your indoor shows, IF it has plenty of room to get full speed first. My 15 year old Losi 1/36 Micro DT and 1/24 Rally (both stock brushed versions) have 10 times more torque, and twice the top speed. I understand these are toy grade. But, how tiny of a motor is in these things. I had to return mine. I was hoping it would be fun to ride around the house to bug the dogs with. But, it just doesn't have the power to do so unless it is smooth flat ground only. Not a 'monster truck' by any means.
Maybe you got a bad one, my mt28 is pretty fast, even on carpet, they are pretty much toy grade, they do sell replacement chassis’s online for half the price seeing as how you cant remove the battery or repair anything really, maybe try out the Losi mini t 2.0, it’s small and comes in a brushless version, i have videos of it here on the channel, thanks for watching! By the way I used to watch your older blade videos back in the day, my first heli was the blade scout 🤙
Thanks for the video. I'm new to LiPo batteries, and am wondering what do you do when you are not using them? Do you charge the battery half way for storage? Thanks
Honestly with these mini Rc’s, I just charge them up all the way, if I’m not gonna use them for a very long time, I will periodically charge them up again and put them back up
@@rcreviews9894 I'd actually recommend charging it for half of the time you usually charge it for. Storing it full or empty is bad for all chemistry's of batteries.
@@rctrucks2094 Thanks, that's along the lines of what I've read, but didn't know if it also applied to small 1S LiPo batteries. I guess I will try it this way.
I think I mention this in the video, from what I remember it’s around a 20 to 30 minute charge time and you will get around 20 minutes of run time depending on how hard you run it🤙
Great review. Personally I love the size for house use but no springs in the front and charge only by radio is a deal breaker for me thank you for the review. Better off just getting one of those knock off Chinese brands that at least have crappy battery packs and 4x4 and all springs for 70 to 80 off amazon
Yeah even though they don’t have springs in the front it’s not noticeable at all, in this video I ramp jump each one and they do fine, like Bill said there is a separate usb charger you can purchase separately 🤙
Wltoys k989 ($70) is one of the fastest I have seen. It is comparable to a Kyosho Mini-Z but is rechargeable! These trucks are good too, and as someone who has lots of the little USB charger plugs, it is a great deal.

I’m just impressed with how they can teleport back to the ramp like that.
Lol
Its like Mario Kart when u fly off the track. 😂

Can you buy better tires or front suspension got one cause this video great review I have the general tire one
Are tires interchangeable with all the trucks? Same wheel connectors and chassis yes?
Yeah and chassis’s are all identical, the only difference being body posts and front and rear bumpers may be different
Great video

Dang, WL toys ftw on this!
Where the fusion 180 smart? Fusion 360 3s?
Where'd you find that ramp?
Amazon, it’s called a fly wheels ramp
@@rcreviews9894 How wide is that ramp?
@@flhandster4395 probably a little over a foot wide
These good off-road?
Decent but they will get stuck in grass and on rocks, they are small and light weight, the street and indoors is where they shine👍
@@rcreviews9894 thinking of getting one and making a mini dirt track in my garden

There is a separate USB charger cable you can buy to charge off a USB battery pack or wall socket plug-in.
