Coming back from having watched this entirely through ~ I highly recommend it, especially if you are like me and love happy endings, good messages about family, loyalty, marital love, and family strife solved wisely and with love (most of the time). For me, this show ranks right up there with Chef Hua, in terms of awesomeness and satisfaction with the story line, the endings, character development, and human decency. Also, I really love the marital devotion! There are some good fight scenes, sweet and tender moments, lots of humor, and the music, costumes, scenery, and subbing are all top notch. ❤❤❤ This show is basically going down as a favorite that I would even rewatch. The ending is particularly satisfying! 🥰 🥰 ❤
I like this one a lot, but there are a few really good ones worthy of rewatch, like A Dream of Splendor, Sleeping Princess, A Familiar Stranger and so on. I'm actually quite shocked at how many good ones there are.

It was minor subject and I hate it before bcoz during exam we translate english words to Mandarin or the other way. We only studied basic chinese words & sentences. I just barely passed on that subject.hahaha

This is the first historical show I’ve watched where the father of the male lead, who is of higher power, actually loves and respects his son. I know this is only the first episode but it’s a nice little break from the normal stereotypical ML a-hole fathers.
