Smart commanders on both sides, and I was fascinated by the deviation from the historical battle.

Great video and a lot of fun participating, the Irish Brigade served me well. And a splendid job by all the umpires who somehow managed to make this possible.

Loved participating in this battle. I got to command 1st Division of 1st Corps, and I wish the video touched a bit more on the lack of union communication! So many decisions my corps had to make were based off of incorrect information, and many of them almost certainly led to far more casualties than necessary.

Hey just wanted to comment earlier than later, I have been loving a lot of the videos on this channel. I got inspired to make a board game based on kreigsspiel, without the umpire because I can't get my friends to do it, because of what I had seen on this channel. Many thanks!

I should say, it is based on kreigsspiel but also takes limited inspiration from Pub Battles.

Great! Umpiring is only a short step away from creating the game itself. Keep coming back and learning!
