- Somehow, Inter Milan have lost a sizeable amount of their best players over the last 2 years and have beome better. Not just better, but A LOT better. Simone Inzaghi is working magic and we all have to pay attention.

That’s why it’s a shame they went out the way they did in the UCL. Genuinely thought they were a top 3 contender to win the whole thing.
They were lucky last season Italian teams are falling behind by a long shot feel bad for serie a
Serie A is bad for past couple of season all teams are strugling for some bizzare reason this year excpet for Inter. Don't get me wrong they are playing incredible tactical football but the leauge makes them look better than they really are compared to other top teams in europe like Napoli last year...

You have to give credit to Inter for making all the right decisions.
They replaced Conte with Inzaghi, who both play. the 3-5-2 formation. This makes sure Inter keeps the same system in place without having to buy new players or make new players adapt to different roles.
Also, props for finding good replacements for Skriniar, Dezko, Lukaku, Brozovic, and Onana with Pavard, Sommer, Thuram, Sanchez, and converting Çalhanoğlu into a CDM

@@henrymattingly1341And I just meant that despite that being plain common sense Manchester United's owners are too dumb to realise it, and keep hiring managers with wildly different styles, which means that the team keeps changing systems every year or two and never settles into any of them.
As an Inter fan, thanks for recognizing us. I think a lot of this season will be disregarded by other people due to the UCL exit but this has been a very enjoyable past couple of months to watch my team.

As a Barca fan, Inter are one of the teams I like to use for reference so often. Financially struggling but still managing to stay at the top through excellent recruitment and an amazing tactician that knows how to work with what he’s got.
as a case of study its very interesting but you cannot compare both enviroments, a team like inter would not last in barcelona situation simply because of the enviroment

I wonder why Inzaghi isn't talked about for the Man Utd or Bayern job. He may not be the most high-profile name but what he's done at both Inter and Lazio is nothing short of remarkable.
His Footballing philosophy doesn't work with Bayern.

As a proud Interista I can confirm - Inter are phenomenal IN SERIE A. Now we need to think about success in European football, but sadly the club in in difficult position due to debt and can't allow expensive world-class transfers. I hope it will change after Inter is sold

I think Dimarco is one of the most underrated players in the world. He’s been fantastic for them for 2+ seasons. Was the best player for Inter and I’d say 2nd best outta both sides in the CL Final. And he’s not that much worse than Grimaldo.
As an Atletico fan i was scared of inter when we drew them cause they were in scary form add that to Atletico poor form in la liga and also being knocked out of copa del ray . The second leg was wild and i was extremely happy to see Atletico progress to quaters

One of the main reason nobody really cares is because of the state that the Serie A is in. Look at Juventus, I tried to watch them the other day and they are absolutely atrocious. And even if you just take a look at their squad it's like literally who?
Aside from AC Milan having a couple of notable players there isn't really anyone there to watch anymore.

Im british and support City but i do have a soft spot for AC Milan because when i was a teenager, that AC side in 09. So i hate seeing Inter do well, but they've been phenomenal. That game lastbuear was tense and they were excellent.

Our critical weakness, as well as the main reason we lost to Atletico (aside themselves doing the 200% and Lautaro being Lautaro on pens) is ironically how collective is our game: if we get difficult game where only a individual action out of instinct/intuition can turn the tide, we struggle because all the players are used to never take the initiative and just continue to do what Inzaghi trained them to do. This is part of the reason the club wants more individual-focused players for the next season, especially strikers

As a longtime AC Milan fan, it pains seeing them dominate the Serie A but credit is due to them. I mean they have among the best tacticians in Simone Inzaghi and their transfer recruitment is top notch. Milan will seriously need to recruit the right palyers and get a better coach than Pioli if we are to have any chance of competing with Inter next season.
As an Inter fan I'm glad they aren't talked about as much as they diserve. Hope it stays that way, I don't want them to be in the spotlight since players will start demanding Prem League level salaries which Inter can't afford and then they will be forced to sell them.
Another fun thing to remember, is that if Inter doesn't lose any game in the league for the rest of the season, they will beat the current points record in the league, which is from their biggest rivals, Juventus

@@lucasapinya8832 Surprisingly no, ask any Inter supporter and they'll say they hate Juve more, just like United's biggest rivalry is with Liverpool and not City, sometimes the biggest rivalry is not a derby, though Inter x Juve is sometimes referred to as a derby, the Derby D'Itallia, bc even before the days of Serie A those two were already the biggest clubs in the country, so a match between them was always like a country level derby
