About six hours ago, I yelled out from the kitchen to Alexa to play music by David Hicken. The kitchen was a total mess from the weekend, but it’s awesome now and I’ve been smiling all afternoon. Thank you!
This musical instrument is so beautiful and majestic and the sound is fabulous ! It looks so more complicated to play than another keyboard instrument like the piano for example ! And each time I am so amazed by the movements of the feet. You really need a perfect synchronization and independence hands/feet to perform on an organ. I have so much admiration for organists and especially for David ! I'm impressed !
Love this one, it's an amazing piece! (Can easily imagine it becoming a very memorable soundtrack in some epic movie!)
OMG!!!!! I have never been able to look so directly at the fingers and feet when someone is playing such a wonderful organ. I was totally captivated and have the greatest respect for your playing and this instrument.
I wish you could really get hold of this organ and give a big concert in this concert church (Marienkirche Neubrandenburg) on your modern organ, a 2 million euro donation for the Gothic brick church.

2,852 whistles, 351 of which are made of wood and 2,501 of different tin alloys
Longest whistle: about 6 meters long, produces a tone with 16 vibrations per second;
since the lower hearing threshold is around 20 vibrations, these sounds can be felt more than heard
Smallest whistle: about 11 millimeters long, produces a tone with 15,600 vibrations per second; this frequency is close to the upper limit of hearing
Width of the organ: 8.00 m
Height of the organ: 12.00 m
Depth behind the visible front pipes (prospectus): 3.30 m
Weight: approx. 21 tons

The word 'epic' has been so over used. However, in this case, it is the correct word. An amazing arrangement performed exceptionally well.

This composition has such a powerful multi-layered sound on the organ. I would love to hear how you might make it sound for the piano.

Your talent, whether composing for piano or organ, always goes above and beyond. However, I do beg you to please compose more organ pieces. I am sooooo looking forward to seeing your new organ video uploads, and needless to say, for you to release a solo organ album. Hello David, Your transcription, arrangement and performance of this dramatic piece is superb! I remember seeing this movie and it was wonderfully done. My favorite musical piece from this movie is "Non Nobis Domine". I have seen it performed by choral groups on you-tube and have seen it sung in church. This is an amazing musical composition. It has been associated with the "Knights Templar" defenders of the church. I enjoyed this performance very much and would love to hear "Non Nobis Domine" on your fabulous organ at some future date.
