I really like that format, your commentary on your live rapid games is always top notch!
I agree, it’s really useful to experience his process of how he analyzes the situation
attact, sacrifice(blunder material), cheakmate(by opponents)
i do these every game
make sure to attack with the piece pinned to your queen
Please do videos like this where you show us the thought process
I’m shocked at how useless Nelson’s opponent’s two rooms were (and the queen to a lesser degree) while Nelson’s were so aggressive. I like how Nelson teaches us to use our instincts when we can’t see everything clearly and how he is not afraid of being down a piece when he’s attacking. So informative.
You're such a great tutor nelson. Thank you
White's queen sacrifice to win 2 rooks was so incredible. That would completely eliminate black's winning chance
Not really. This fork basically stop all attacks, and white is up a Night. I mean, is just not material, but basically stop any attack
There's 2 type of attacking. The good one and mine (I thought I'm Mikhail Tal)
Actually it's :
There are 2 type of sacrifices, the correct one and mine
-Mikhail tal
like these 10 min games so we can hear the thought process
17:30 yeah.. I was also noticing e7 was a forcing way to simplify for White….
Same, I'm not that high rated but I was seeing that right away and really thought he threw it that moment. Luckily white didn't spot the move.
@@danielj.8876 It was the same in my head)
I saw all the moves you made after you made them. Nailed it.
it’s nice even just one game, because it’s good to see the analysis after and check some lines more in details. Really entertaining
Love the instructive content Nelson, keep it up
Very nice game. I love watching these kinds of videos because I end up learning something every time. I would not be brave enough to start giving up pawns like you did, but I see why you did and how it helped get you into a great position. I could watch these games all day, can’t wait for the next video!
LOL at your opponents name. He's dutch, and his name translates to: Easy scoring, suggesting that it is easy for him to gain points.
Love it! More please!!!
I saw the move pawn to e7 forking the 2 rooks, thinking that it was the only move for white to stay in the game. So proud of myself for that. However, maybe if i was the one playing, might have also missed that idea entirely. Also, if your opponent had more time to look for better moves, maybe he might have seen that move as well. Time management and wide vision are very important aspects in chess.
Excellent video, thanks. Not too long (one game instead of two was fine with me), not too short, and showing us the thought process at every key step is very helpful. That particular game had a rewarding ending as well, well done
Great video, thanks. More like this please (explaining your thought process).
Love the rapid training games! Long enough to follow along and short enough to... well follow along! 😄 Thanks for the cool game!
I really like your tactics ❤
love watching ya
Grande. Perfetto. Learn a lot from you mate. Grazie and greetings ftom Italy. Ciao
Nice one, Nelson! You have great intuition for seeing the winning ideas without detailed calculation. When I try to do that I lose at least as often as you win.
Great video!
Instructions unclear: attack, sacrifice, minus 200 elo
Supercool game! Trying to learn something. Nelson is good teacher.
Dude, you're brilliant 👏 👌 I really love watching your videos. I learn so much from you, and I enjoy the very relaxing way you present your content. Keep up the good work. You will be a grandmaster before you know it 😊 👍
During the calculations i was desperately asking "wait what about e7? he isn't even looking at it?"
Just happy to have spotted at least one weird engine move lol
What a thrilling match! 😊
I wasn't expecting such a great game before watching.
Awesome I love it. This guy's a genius
Great game!
Nice I've been playing Portuguese Gambit in blitz but my record is bad when they don't play pawn C4 so this is very instructive thanks
17:25 even if pawn moves to put rooks in fork, you have some checks to get one rook out. Even if they capture with queen, it can put white king in check and then other rook can move away freely
What are you saying?
Yes that's what I saw too 💯
What I saw was Re2 check, knight blocks other rook moves to e8
Very cool 😊
Wow, what a masterpiece
@17:32 i didnt see the double rook fork coming tho, & that one would have been an endgame!
I saw that pawn move forking two rooks
Great game! I want to play like you!!!❤😂
Neeeeed moooooooore games like this
10:31 black to move
1) ...Rd2+ Qxd2 Qxd2 Ne2/ Kf1 fxe6+
2) ...Rd2+ Ne2/ Kf1 f×e6+ Qf4 Rxf4#
Maybe you should do openning video
I'm also playing the portuguese scandinavian and I know that when your opponent played Be3 the best move the australian GMI David Smerdon advices Qe7 but Bb4+ is fine.
Would two rooks and a knight be winning against just a queen? I’m thinking it would but Nelson seems to think he’d be in decent shape with the queen (pawn hunting).
Eval bar in analysis next time please
Yesss I saw the rook sack! Awesome game
How on earth that Rxg2 is not a brilliant move?!!
it might not be the only winning move
@@BigDBrian I checked the game review and it’s the only move that leads to a forced checkmate!
@@6ARE8 What's the evaluation of the next best move?
Anyhow, it probably should be brilliant, at least by human standards. Whatever algorithm/criteria they use is a bit weird.
@@BigDBrian I think it was around -4
And I definitely agree with you on that point.
I’m very new to the game but what’s stopping him from taking your queen just before the 13 :00 mark?
Crazy how me a 1000 rating found that pawn move to fork the rooks 😂🔥🔥
Hello from denmark, sorry am i wrong here, at 11 min 18 sec 1) Rock d2 check, Knight e2 2) Queen d3, (Queen e1 leads to mate: 3) fxe6 check, King g1 4) Queen e3 check, Queen f2 and 5) Queen x f2 mate)) and 3) , Queen f1 leads to 4) fxe6 check, King g1 5) Rock x f1 check, Rock x f1 6) Queen e3 check, Rock f2 and last 7) Rock d1 mate (and yes my brain hurts now!!) Have a great day all
you are not gonna believe this but I found e7 in the game
5:35 Man thinks he's Hikaru
I take back my challenge to you LOL
........ I still have no idea how I saw most of the best move for white and black before you find it or miss it. Btw yes I saw the queen sac like 3s after you said you are planning Rd8.
Those two pawns being sacced are bugging tf outta me idk why
Better rook d2 check first, and opponent king has no square in g3.
1.. Rd2 2.Ne2 fxe6+ 3. Kg1 Qe3#
Technically, white was up a knight. But since white rooks and queen were never in the game, black effectively traded a knight for two rooks and a queen when counting active pieces.
You have to keep the pressure when sacrificing for position.
Every human things about rook C3 😅 don’t know why your opponent has not seen this
I am glad that I saw e7 and he didn’t
I didn’t see exactly how, but that advanced pawn really was looking like a big threat, even more after castling, because it could take the pawn on the h-file with check, and potentially lead to some forks as well
Your neighbour here😅😅...why not play with me few times🙂
He better play with or bro bouta get doxxed
Rizzly bear
The old days you were saying that Hope Chess is useless and bad.😉
14:22 How are saying that it's useful?😅
Hope chess is when you know the line is bad but play it anyway.
He's saying he doesn't know if the line is good but he has good chances.
There's a difference.
Hope Chess may also be like:
I know this might be a blunder but this is a human being so he will not find the best move, then he will play the bad move and I will win. Right?!
2 seconds later.
Oh no!
Time controls. He explained that.
Let's goooooo
Ke2 will be not good for you.
😅
😊exposed
2:20 - keeping aside what is the best move or what engine says. What would you play if white played Qe2 and you know what is the next move for white after Qe2 @ChessVibesOfficial
ive the hundredth like
Computer cant see "imagination and sacrifice and thus it says ?? to some of your good moves and you WON!!! Imagine how it would react to some of Bobby Fishers games or ones where he sacrificed the Queen early on and all the GM's shown it after, couldnt work out what he was doing from that position!! Shows that most GM's are technically perfect and wait for a mistake; bit like in tennis where your opponent just keeps the ball in play and has no real talent, and waits for you to lose a point and wins through attrition. Playing the computer, you find it plays the logical move and thus makes you a very strong low error player, but play against a skilled imaginative player and you will be lost and unable to work out what hes up to..
Is this an april fools video
King Takes?
great propaganda!
Good Game
