45 minute boat ride around "Italy" I kept scratching my head until Ulysses clarified it was Venice. ☺️ Fun and entertaining vlog. I've been to Italy four times and there are still so many areas to visit and explore. Highly recommend the Toscana and Liguria regions. We recently found out about - and met - relatives from Liguria near Portofino. My background is Ecuadorian and Italian 🙂 & definitely agree a day trip or two in Paris to see the highlights is more than enough, especially a visit to Versailles IMO.
Its so nice seeing how excited you are for this trip I used to take trips with my mom for our church and Italy was by far one of my favorite trips the people the ambiance everything was so beautiful
My husband and I would only eat at little whole in the wall restaurants in Italy. The food tasted so different. And it was less expensive too. We ate at a Restaurant that the Nonna (grandma) would cook whatever she wanted. It was the best!

My parents went to Roma & Paris a few years back & they also said they really didn’t care for Paris, they said the ppl there are really rude & not much to do there. But they loved Roma. They loved the Vatican
we went to Paris in June and I wasn't blown away like I thought I would be, were heading to Italy next month and I'm so excited my husband has lived in Italy he's says ill love it,!! so happy I get to see bits of it before we go there.
I'm Italian and lived there as a kid. Going to Venice was magical. When it comes to food though, definitely skip the tourist traps, they are not authentic. The pizza looked yummy but was definitely not a real Italian pizza :)
