Would I be able to wear this with a plate carrier?

If you own a large sized belt/ pack and lose alot of weight, can you purchase the next size belt and change it out, or do you need to purchase another complete frame?

Is your hip belt running through your belly button?

Pretty dang close, just below it. You want the belt riding higher than you would normally wear pants so the weight is on your hipbones.
