Using my shooting stick as one of my hiking sticks, I prefer to use my Kifaru gun bearer. I've found when I blunder into a quick shot situation, I can quickly set up my shooting stick and pull out my rifle for a quick shot in seconds with no fumbling around with the backpack. And if I find myself faced off with a bear, I can quick-draw my rifle and be in the fight in the blink of an eye. If I'm carrying a sidearm, then I will mount my rifle to the back of my backpack.
Thank you. I was about to call you guys and have you explain how to do this. I have the rifle and the bow carrier. Until now I did not know how to use either one.
@@Bladeunion5716 Pretty much everything I hunt. I've killed Sheep, Mule Deer, Blacktail Deer, Mtn Goat, Bears and Elk with it. With the right bullet choice it does an exceptional job. - Steve
@@ExoMtnGear that's a bad ass rifle! I had a christensen ridgeline in 6.5 that I wanted to use as a lightweight moutain gun but everyone here in North Idaho laughed at me for thinking I would use it for elk so I never tried and ended up selling it.
Switching from eberlestock to k3 4800 was day and night differences, well worth the extra money.
Love my 4800. I’ve been running my rifle on the back, but am going to switch to the side now! Thanks EXO, you guys rock.

Tou should strap over your scope run it under the scope or use a higher stap that let's the scope alone .
If a strap applying a minimal amount of force will mess up your scope, you need a better scope and/or mount.
Good job
Does this rifle carrier work on the new K4 packs or is there an updated version coming out?
Thanks mate keep up the great work
The K3 Rifle Carrier does work well on K4 Pack Systems, and we also have a new K4 Rifle Carrier coming out in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned!
You might pack a portable electric fence for bear country. A compact 2.4 lbs for huge peace of mind
Wow this is like a real life dayz pack
What rifle were you using in this video?
This is a custom 6.5 Creedmoor I had built by Divide Gun Company.
@@ExoMtnGear what do you hunt with 6.5 Creedmoor?
