Take a walk with me at The Ranch at Death Valley

The Ranch at Death Valley is one of two Oasis at Death Valley Hotels. It is located in a lush oasis surrounded by the desert of Death Valley National Park. This video provides a walking tour of the resort grounds as well as a visit to the Visitor’s Center and the on-site Borax Museum.
The Ranch at Death Valley is a family-oriented resort with playgrounds, tennis courts, and a spring fed 87F swimming pool. For additional activities, Furnace Creek Stables offers horseback riding, bicycles can be rented from the on-site outdoor center, Jeeps can be rented from a near-by outfitter to take on some of the more remote, non-paved roads in the park, and the Furnace Creek Golf Course has an 18-hole course with the distinction of being the lowest elevation golf course in the world.
The Ranch is conveniently located and has everything you need on site or nearby. Rooms were comfortable and less costly than The Inn at Death Valley. There is a grocery store although limited in supplies and fairly steep in prices, an ice cream parlor, a post office, an upscale souvenir store, a saloon restaurant that offers up excellent steaks and atmosphere, a mediocre buffet restaurant, an outdoor seating burger and bar restaurant at the golf course, and a high-priced gas station. The resort is only 0.3miles from the visitor’s center.
We have no regrets staying at this resort and recommend others take advantage of the convenience of its location.
