    I think people are calling it hyper articulated because it is for a figure of an actual dinosaur. Most dinosaur toys are either completely non-articulated or have a jaw hinge and maybe a little movement in the legs and that's it.

    I got one variant of this line. The sculpt is amazing and so is the paintjob. You are the only reviewer I've seen who mentions its inability to stand up on its own which is its only downfall. By the way it can kick up higher with its articulation. I think I'll keep supporting the line though. I want to see a well done T-rex.

    Besides that, there's a sort of charm too with feathered or scientifically accurate Dinosaurs, I mean I freakin love birds. And Cassowaries, Falcons, Eagles, even Chickens have something real cool and adorable in em. Wow Jobby, as a kid, i was fascinated by the Dinasours, maybe and mostly thanks to Jurassic Park (and all the dino trend in the 90s and early 00s), but i also loved to watch discovery channel/animal planet documentals about dinos, and i got some little scientific books (a five issue collection) about dinosaurs, so being a kid i wanted to be a paleontologist, until i found out and realized that dinos are extinct, so they do not exist anymore (until now >:D) and i would be just digging out some rocks. Don't get me wrong, the palaeontology is a great and very important work, for science and the society, but i look at it with the eyes of a kid, who saw the work as "something cool" (like the ones that wants to be a fireman or astronaut just because they are cool). Anyway it's admirable that someone can overpass that feeling and fulfill a childhood dream.

    I got my hands on the Velociraptor figure and I absolutely love it! There are some things everyone should take note of is the support stand... Where the ball on the support claw plugs into the rod is extremely fragile and cracks over time. The legs on the figure get loose over time as well. I have had the figure for about a year now and I still love it but a figure that has to rely on a stand that is fragile AF is a big let down. I did experience a bit of paint chipping but it's from excess paint on the joints to that aren't even noticable. Get one if you so desire but for how much it costs BE CAREFUL, the stand works great but you gotta keep the claw switching to a minimum, that shit cracks faster than your daddy smacking your ass with a belt because you snuck in the cookie jar.

    Man, come on,
    They’re basically ground hawks that drop down on you and rip you apart while holding you down with their toe claws
    If anything Raptors are cooler than they’ve ever been
    So they’re actually scarier than just saurian wolves.
    It’s Death From Above!
    Plus you cannot tell me those colors don’t look awesome
    Plus saying it’s like a Jurassic Park raptor with fluff,
    It’s kind of like how you described the 1995 Godzilla,
    Those rounded features make him look huggable, but those fiery eyes and fierce teeth tell you to back up.
    Also,
    Yes, you did pronounce it right

    Jobby if your video is running short and you need to get to ten minutes after the outro put in some out takes and stuff. They don't have to be super duper funny but it'll help you reach the ten minute mark and I'm sure some people, including myself would want to see that stuff.

    • @KingOfHalla
      @KingOfHalla 6 лет назад +1

      But then he'll just have people bitching he's artificially making the video longer. granted you wont have to sit around for those.

    • @enderblazefuision
      @enderblazefuision 6 лет назад

      Tarv Is would you? Who cares if he does? This is his job. He needs to make money, and I want the best for him. If he just extended the song on the end card till it reaches ten minutes, then I would understand your anger but with including outakes it is actual content that I know I am excited to see. Of course you don't have to watch them that is your choice, but this is his job and it has to be sustainable and make him money.

    • @KingOfHalla
      @KingOfHalla 6 лет назад +1

      I mean he might as well put 3 minutes of black screen at that point? There's other ways to artificially extend your video that aren't so blatant.

    The resistance to feathered Dino's just doesn't make sense to me. Saying they look like chickens is like saying that bears look like bunnies because they both have fur. Jurassic park was actually very scientifically accurate when it first came out, before the idea of feathered Dino's was widely accepted.

    • @rileythorn4928
      @rileythorn4928 6 лет назад +1

      Jacob Johnston Actually discovered for the dinosaurs specifically raptors I don’t remember the species right before Jurassic Park was ever directed or planned also I don’t see a reason why he called the raptors velociraptors even though the size is questionable for a velociraptor because realistically The biggest they Grew was Slightly bigger than a chicken And a velociraptor would discovered wait before Jurassic Park so… They still fucked up the raptors

    • @AwesomeMooseSmile

      Trust me, if bears had scales rather feathers, that would be terrifying. Maybe then my step dad would stop romanticizing about getting one to snuggle with.

    • @user-go4fb7se8i

      Jacob Johnston No, that's retared comparison. If anything it's like saying crocodiles with feathers don't look stupid and ugly.

    • @jacobjohnston3983
      @jacobjohnston3983 6 лет назад +1

      No a feathered croc isn't an apt comparison, since reptiles and dinosaurs are completely different groups. Birds are literally extant dinosaurs. A Paleontologist would call a T. rex a "non-avian" dinosaur, and an eagle an avian dinosaur. It makes all the sense in the world that a dinosaur would look more like a bird than it would a crocodile. אנונימית אנונימי

    I love it. Not something I need, but I love the kestrel deco. And, I actually prefer the feathers and wings. It makes for dinos that more like dragons and griffins and the like, or perhaps more alien like Jeff Vandermeer’s “Area X - The Southern Reach Trilogy” or perhaps something that the Predators would hunt on their homeworld, for some examples.
