Brother after non muslim people recite shahada and reverts to Islam please keep a touch with them. Constant guide them and show them the procedures of Salat and Fasting and other Farz task of Islam. Also try to answer all their doubt and questions about religion with Quran and Hadith to make their believe and faith strong.
Please keep in touch with him and be patient.
My suggestion is :please don’t Postpone the martyrdom for anyone like We will do it Friday.. Death comes at any time. If someone is hesitant or afraid.. Tell them to say the shahada and try Islam himself. If he wants to continue or retreat, no one will be sued, and his fate will be fire if he continues his infidelity or becomes an apostate, (many of reverts in videos their journey,said the shahada in themselves and tried Islam and Prayer and even fasting for a period of weeks or months and then they made it officially ), many reverts apostate in the first three years (American statistic) due to family or… , and I think that, God willing, they will return to Islam after they tasted the sweetness of faith . the point of making it officially is if he wants to marry..or death…etc.

You can always have some more relgious high. We can say the shahadah as many times in a day that we want. We can get rhat in reading the Quran and in solat. Alhamdulillah.
If you feel lonely or overwhelmed in your journey get in touch with other new reverts, it will give you strength and you all can be a support to each other. I remember seeing an interview somewhere in which a new revert said that those who are originally muslims are not very supportive and often judgemental of new muslims, this causes depression in the reverts as their family and friends shun them and the Muslim community doesn't support them really. I don't know if any of of the reverts here have been through this and what was their journey like?

I am far from being a perfect Muslim even though I was born into Islam. But I am trying to better myself daily and striving to reach a peak that I know is within my reach.

Ameen brother John. I’ve experienced that too with Hispanic brothers and sisters. They love their religion and culture, and are proud people. That sad thing is though is Latinos are very close to Muslims in term of cultural conservatism, collectivism and modesty. I tried to give dawah to Latino coworkers before too. Happily though Latina women are the highest converts to Islam in the Americas.

this came up on my feed as a sign from allah (swt). i think this video made it very clear to me. the peace and serenity i get from the religion is nothing i've ever felt before. the presence of god. this video filled my heart up and broke me down in tears. i just seek for guidance 🙏🏽

Alhamdulilah, this guy reminds me of my dad. The sheer, utter sincerity and respect you can see from his actions and what he says, whilst holding his son, is commendable. You can see he’s nervous and the only reason he’s hesitant to take it is because he knows he’s a sinner, as we all are and he knows Islam he perfect, so humble. I remember once at a mosque a man took shahada and wow, so many people went to hug this brother. Some of my friends even asked him to make some dua. My friends told me that this man’s heart is more like that of an innocent child, may Allah accept his dua.

I watch these revert stories everyday and I cry, and wonder when my time will come. I am just scared that I won't be able to hold it up, what if I make a mistake... Please pray for me to be strong for when my time comes to embrace Islam.
