I think it is normal that our imam goes up and down.. I noticed that after I commit sin like watching some stuff online that I suppose not to watch I feel like I lost the connection in my prayer I feel lazy to pray stuff like that and it happens to me many times I think my iman is just too weak and shaitan gets to make me see those stuff again and again after trying my best to stop myself from doing so… But now I found the remedy Alhamdulillah… never ever stop performing your salah.. even sometimes I pray it not on time anymore I drag myself to perform my salah

I’m 22 from Ohio and this is so heartwarming and inspiring. I left Christianity when I was 12 because it didn’t feel right. I had so many questions, but the remained unanswered to this day. I have been seeking truth and answers for 10 years now. And for the decade, I have considered myself spiritual. But even then, my questions remained unanswered. Both paths lead to confusion and more questions. It’s to the point where I think I’ll just be atheist. But atheism doesn’t align with my beliefs. I believe there is a creator. I believe there are messengers and prophets. I believe there could be more than one god. I am in this weird place of finding myself spiritually because I know the rest will fall online after. I will try out Islam and see how I feel. But I don’t have a spiritual direction in my life and it’s becoming a major hinderance. Hopefully I find myself here… please prey for my journey.

May Allah swt reward sheikh for his great dawah. Earlier this year a friend of mine would constantly ask me questions about Islam questions I wasn't qualified to answer, so I told him let's go speakers corner to listen/learn and ask. We went down and heard the opinions of many some crazy some sane as you may know if you've been speakers corner lol, May Allah guide us all. We listened for afew hours it was very insightful, I knew he was interested in Islam but I never pushed it upon him, I just told him why we do certain things and above all tried to be an ambassador for the deen and only speak what I truly know of. Cut a long story short, we stood there next to sheikh and I wanted my friend to ask him the questions he had asked me (he was shy) and sheikh could tell this was the case. I looked sheikh in the eyes and he knew what time it was SubhanAllah. He engaged in conversation with my friend Alhamdullilah. They spoke, he answered all questions sincerely and clearly. 30minutes later my friend turned into my brother in the deen Alhamdullilah. He fasted Ramadan with me and my family MashaAllah and constantly reminds 😅me of how to be a better person. SubhanAllah Allah chooses who he wishes to guide. But yeah thank you sheikh for you Dawah I never expected him at all to take his shahadah that day not one bit. But with your help he did. Allahu Akbar.
Your statement is based on an assumption that he won't change his faith in the future. No one knows the future except Allaah سبحانه و تعالى. Always use inshaa'Allaah when making such statements as nothing happens except according to His will, not ours.

Good job on our sheikh as well, he never pushed this young boy to take this, he simply held him to his words and the truth he heard. How can you deny the truth if it’s so clear. Alhumdillilah.

I said to myself i wasnt going to cry when it happened. But the Ruh took over. I testify that i have a soul, and even though i did my best to not cry my Ruh reacted to the blessing of the shahada. Truly God is great. Alhamdulilah.

I’m 22 from Ohio and this is so heartwarming and inspiring. I left Christianity when I was 12 because it didn’t feel right. I had so many questions, but the remained unanswered to this day. I have been seeking truth and answers for 10 years now. And for the decade, I have considered myself spiritual. But even then, my questions remained unanswered. Both paths lead to confusion and more questions. It’s to the point where I think I’ll just be atheist. But atheism doesn’t align with my beliefs. I believe there is a creator. I believe there are messengers and prophets. I believe there could be more than one god. I am in this weird place of finding myself spiritually because I know the rest will fall online after. I will try out Islam and see how I feel. But I don’t have a spiritual direction in my life and it’s becoming a major hinderance. Hopefully I find myself here… please prey for my journey.
go to the closest mosque near you w8 for the guy that leads prayer to finish praying ask him what ever question you want i insure you you will find your answers there if you have a question i can try my best to answer too

he wanted to convert already, and was just looking for something to push him there. still a beautiful thing to see him surrender Alhamdulillah
May Allah swt reward sheikh for his great dawah. Earlier this year a friend of mine would constantly ask me questions about Islam questions I wasn't qualified to answer, so I told him let's go speakers corner to listen/learn and ask. We went down and heard the opinions of many some crazy some sane as you may know if you've been speakers corner lol, May Allah guide us all. We listened for afew hours it was very insightful, I knew he was interested in Islam but I never pushed it upon him, I just told him why we do certain things and above all tried to be an ambassador for the deen and only speak what I truly know of. Cut a long story short, we stood there next to sheikh and I wanted my friend to ask him the questions he had asked me (he was shy) and sheikh could tell this was the case. I looked sheikh in the eyes and he knew what time it was SubhanAllah. He engaged in conversation with my friend Alhamdullilah. They spoke, he answered all questions sincerely and clearly. 30minutes later my friend turned into my brother in the deen Alhamdullilah. He fasted Ramadan with me and my family MashaAllah and constantly reminds 😅me of how to be a better person. SubhanAllah Allah chooses who he wishes to guide. But yeah thank you sheikh for you Dawah I never expected him at all to take his shahadah that day not one bit. But with your help he did. Allahu Akbar.

I am amazed at how honest and logical this young man is. I've seen videos of people debating Muslims and when asked "If I prove that Islam is right would you accept it and they say no I won't", I mean if someone proves to me that another religion is right and mine isn't and my religion has even 1 contradiction then It can't be sent by god cause god makes no mistakes.
