      Have you tried a 1800-1700R curved monitor?
      I was very sceptical at first but got to borrow a friends 1800R monitor.
      And after just a few days my brain adjust, and after that a flat monitor feels like its curved backwards now like a CRT.
      A few day later the booth flat and curved feel fine.
      You just need to let your brain adjust it takes some time.
      I'm working with 3D art btw so not just a gamer, have no issues with lines on this slight curve.

    So, I was debating what to buy ~ I knew I wanted 4k OLED 240hz. Dell, MSI, Asus, LG & Gigabyte were my options. $949-$1299. Price was weighing on me so I ordered the MSI.
    BUT, while waiting, I asked myself, how long do I want to keep this monitor? The answer was, at least 3+ years. So, I looked at all the support/warranty options and read about 50 user feedback. I landed on the Dell Alienware AW3225QF because:
    -Customer service
    -Ease of return if you have an issue
    -Availability
    -AND with the 10% off, I paid $1069 for it
    It arrived in PERFECT condition yesterday. The firmware update was VERY EASY. I absolutely LOVE this monitor. The motion clarity & deep colors are amazing. I NOW understand when people say "DEEP Blacks" or "INKY Blacks"
    I packed up my LG 32GQ950-B & put it up for sale today
    Something of note: The CURVE is BARLEY noticeable. I had a 1500R I didn't love but this... I think I really like it actually.
    Think LONG term peeps 👍

      Glossy doesn’t make them a better choice for most monitor usage situations unfortunately. And they lack common monitor-like features too. They’re very good screens, and if you can still find a C2 or C3 at a good price (now that the C4 is being released) they’re a good option worth a look 😀

    I have the AW2725DF but not completely happy with it. VRR flickering is pretty bad, the HDR modes have too many compromises, and I don’t like how the ports have limited bandwidth compared to what they could’ve put in it. Also I might have a little eye strain but I’m still not sure how big of a deal that is. Text clarity is pretty good but I’d really like 4k. 32” is just too big for the games I mostly play or I’d just get one of those.
    Man it sucks because it’s a great display but it’s just not quite there. I either just eat the cost of it and deal with the cons now or send it back and wait for a 4k 27”. LG is completely out of the question unless they ever offer a glossy option.

    He didn't mention the LG 4K-240Hz/1080p-480Hz model just released as that looks very interesting and the behind the screen speakers looks very interesting. Its a bum its missing USB C but otherwise looks great. Assuming they are released for sale in Australia very soon and a recent check a few days ago the LG hadn't, I'm either going to order the LG which btw I feel looks the nicest from the rear of the newest Oled's but doesn't mention a specific Oled warranty but has a really nice, user friendly software which I very much value as I use it at least three times per day to adjust the brightness for watching at night in my dark room. Though I wasn't as keen on the back of the msi monitor, I've seen much worse in the past. The MSI also has a lot of great features including USB C though I don't know if my Android phone will show the camera app in full screen when connected via the USB C as my current LG monitor does, a feature I use regularly.

      No we didn’t mention that one for now as it’s not properly released yet, but we hope to review it soon and if it’s good, it might make it on to our list. Although it would have to be bloody good to justify the $450 USD price premium compared with the MSI!

      It’s possible that it could be related to the manufacturing process and coating type of QDOLED, but if these are only visible with a flashlight, I really wouldn’t worry about it. It feels like looking for something that just isn’t an issue or will cause any problem in real usage

      Alienware's latest QD-OLEDS had similar issues out of the box in their early batches. Some owners had bad scratching out of the box. They didn't have a proper protective layer on the screen and they were getting scratched when rubbing against the cover that it shipped in. Since they have fixed the issue. Dell 32 inch is better then the MSI. First, you can get 100$ off, so the price different is not huge. But Dolby vision, better Gsync/AMD support and the curve to me is much better.

    • @Qt33zy
      @Qt33zy 5 месяцев назад

      Everyone who can't get a 321urx will say this lol. Curve is not better than flat, secondly I hope you enjoy permanent marks on your display from dells horrendous packaging. MSI also $100 steam card, and KVM, no screen marks, flat screen, cheaper.. your Dolby Vision is not worth it, the 321urx and g-sync works great. He's correct, MSI wins.

    • @SillyOne90
      @SillyOne90 5 месяцев назад

      @@Qt33zy they fixed the packaging and I own both. I sent the MSI back. The GSync works better out the box and Dolby Vision is better. MSI will not have any Firmware support...ever. You keep watching videos to tell you what to do, I bought both, and will even try the LG, but the Alienware fits all my needs.

    • @soccersensation
      @soccersensation 5 месяцев назад

      @@tftcentral No you're absolutely right. If the other monitors are pretty similar specs and feature wise, then it will come down to price. The cheaper one will always be recommended in that case. I personally pick the one that meets my need and preference. If it is the one that happens to be $200 more, then so be it. In truth, you can't go wrong with any of these monitors.
