I’ve found some older NFL film from the 2007s to 2015ish range, but it’s very all over the place which teams I have. What are some episode topics you’d want to see from that time frame? Lemme know below!
2009 Peyton Manning film would be cool to see. Ive always wanted to know how he really manipulates the game. Flacco’s playoff run would be funny to breakdown. 2007 Brady. 2011 Rodgers. 2009 Brees.
I think he has great potential, but the fact that he got injured twice in different areas in four games is very concerning. Especially for a qb who is supposed to be a runner.
He's not a scrambler. He's more of a Cam Newton run over you if necessary type due to his size and athletic profile. He's 250, not 220, he's not gonna make as many guys miss since he's huge, even if he's fast
I think he'll be fine under Shane Steichen. He seems confident with him and Anthony Richardson has one of the best potential Recieving cores in the league now.
As an Eagles fan this often seems like 2022 Eagles that can run the ball at Will with the option and Jonathan Taylor. I can’t wait to see the Colts play.
I really hope joe Flacco can help AR to lessen his all arm throwing motion. Him relying on his arm strength to make every throw causes those little misses that can change a game.
Flacco has stated in the past that he doesn’t get paid to mentor young QBs but maybe he’s changed? Also I think he has good coaching. Is promising but tough to stay healthy with his style.
@@greenleafnumber70 Joe also said that when he was in Baltimore, where he'd been drafted, and eventually re-signed to be a starter. It wasn't his job there to train his replacement. And that was a fair stance to take: he had signed his deal there with the understanding that he was the starter. I'd imagine he's going to take a different tack in situations, like Indianapolis, where he's explicitly being brought in as an insurance policy, not a starter. Plus even if he's not there specifically to mentor Richardson, a young QB can still learn a lot just from talking to and watching a veteran go about their business. Especially one who's been as successful as Flacco.
Hes got potential, and you can clearly see that Indy was thinking "hes built like Josh Allen, and we think we can improve his accuracy in the same vein as him" But I don't like that mentality. Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, these guys are freak outliers.
As opposed to getting a reliable but not elite Kirk Cousins or Dak Prescott that never make it to a SuperBowl anyways? Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning were massive outliers too. (Obviously much, much safer prospects, but you're betting on them being outstanding if they work) And the reality is that he was QB3, the only other QB they could've taken was Levis.
Gotta remember, josh allen didnt start off very accurate either, i believe both his rookie and sophmore season he completed less than 60% of his passes. It changed when he got a real #1 WR in Diggs. AR5 has possibly 2 #1 WRs in Pitt and possibly AD. I believe once Richardson gets more in game reps, he'll be special...maybe not mahomes special (who can live up to that!?!?!) But a top 5 QB in the league? Definitely. Buddy just has to stay on the field and keep improving his accuracy. Colts have a great team around him
the other thing is he didn't get enough to play time in college but he's a very humble player that works hard. He needs to learn to slide and to keep working at his throws. Jordan love wasn't great either. But the question is can he make good decisions quickly. You can learn to make better decisions but you either think fast or you don't.

Accuracy has been fixable for a lot of these guys and for Richardson even dating back to the draft, it's always stemmed from his lower body mechanics when throwing

The evaluation on Richardson is truly a tbd. From the film there are flashes and inconsistencies both of which were to be expected. His Mechanics are clean it’s just about repetitions which he hasn’t had enough of. We haven’t seen the colts all on the field together either. Biggest thing from AR is the fact that he talks about wanting to be a QB and learning how to execute from the pocket. And as far as the speed not translating, fields had the same issue year 1 looked kinda slow out there, AR likely will have the same jump speed wise.
The Colts clearly had Josh Allen’s potential in mind when drafting this guy. That would require some good coaching and luck lol. Considering the fact that Shane Steichen coach Herbert & Hurts I think it can happen.
Richardson's accuracy, rightly mentioned in this video, is my concern about him. He has the physical tools, but unless he develops that passing game, he'll be another Justin Fields at the moment-struggling to make throws.

You’re making a lot of judgements on a small sample size. Steichen even said he kept it pretty vanilla so AR could get comfortable. The Rams game is when you saw the potential, in the second half he made amazing throws and brought the team back despite the awful defensive performance of the Colts. Also, the reason you don’t see how speed in game is because he’s still looking to throw. He’s said multiple times he keeps his eyes down field and wants to be a throw first QB.

@danielmckraken5160all thought I agree Bryce was no where near as bad as everyone makes it seeem : you can’t compare stats from a rookie 30 years ago to todays nfl rookie qb. It’s just not even comparable . They put up video game numbers now
I don’t think Alex is hating on AR as bad as people are saying. However, I do think this video didn’t highlight some unbelievable throws he made. (Rams) My only major issue is I am not sure what you mean when you say “hype”. I barely see any Colts content out right now and I’m a Colts fan lol.
He has outstanding abilities, just does not have what it takes to be a top 10 QB any given year. Sure he will have some games where he will tourch the defence all over the place, but he will have games where he has a pick in the first quater and mentally quits on himself.
Hype going out of control is insane!! His few games he played showed exactly why he has the talent to be a TOP 5 Qb of the league. Sometimes certain QBs confuse you (For Example: Michael Penix) Your take on AR #5 is wrong!
He showed no more than Fields the last 2 years with a better offensive coordinator. He is hardly over a rookie evaluation, and he has a season ending injury to deal with.
He's going to struggle this year. We see this time and time again. Coach does a great job showcasing the strengths of a player (which they should). NFL DC get some film and shut that down. He doesn't have much film, so he may have a really good second year. He might also throw a bunch of picks. He was drafted on potential, so a poor to mediocre year doesn't mean he won't be good to great.
His lack of deep targets was because Steichen was trying to ease him into the offense and keep him learning he things he’s not so good at. Give him confidence in his not so strong areas and not diminish his confidence in areas he’s good at. And while he does sail balls occasionally or place it just out of reach, a lot of the statistical accuracy problems came from the rams game, where the first half, while he did have some bad throws, receivers also dropped a lot of passes. And that brought his average (in such a small sample size) way down.

@danielmckraken5160all thought I agree Bryce was no where near as bad as everyone makes it seeem : you can’t compare stats from a rookie 30 years ago to todays nfl rookie qb. It’s just not even comparable . They put up video game numbers now
Bryce Young didn’t have a worse rookie season than Alex Smith but 1 td and 11 interceptions if my memory is accurate.
Pulling for him and fields
He is a bum
Bring in Flacco
You blessing us man 🙏
Touchdowns - 7
Interceptions - 1
Alex Pierce
Ad mitchel
Alec
Just tryna make big bro be like me
He has outstanding abilities, just does not have what it takes to be a top 10 QB any given year. Sure he will have some games where he will tourch the defence all over the place, but he will have games where he has a pick in the first quater and mentally quits on himself.
you can’t both rag on his accuracy and say he “weirdly” doesn’t target deep lol
Hype going out of control is insane!! His few games he played showed exactly why he has the talent to be a TOP 5 Qb of the league. Sometimes certain QBs confuse you
(For Example: Michael Penix)
Your take on AR #5 is wrong!
He might pull a Daunte Culpepper and go off in his second year 💪🏾
Richardson puts the ball on the numbers to Pierce, and that's a mistake, according to this commentator. Come on, man.
I think he watched taoe during his injury i dont expect him to be great but productive next year .. 25 14 7 rush
He's just looking to truck linebackers. How many games do we think he'll last this season?
I think you're overstating the "HYPE TRAIN". I don't see people hyping Anthony Richardson like he's the next big thing.
Only in the fantasy landscape . Not actual NFL expectations
He showed no more than Fields the last 2 years with a better offensive coordinator. He is hardly over a rookie evaluation, and he has a season ending injury to deal with.
Criminally early
Give him a couple of years dude.
It’s Alec Pierce; not Alex Pierce. Good break down.
I hope this doesn’t age well but I’ve got a bad feeling. This has bust written all over it. Joe Flacco will be the starter folks
Rollins curse is a real thing. If that gives anybody hope
He's going to be fine because he's with Shane Steichen.
Him and AD is the real
He's going to struggle this year. We see this time and time again. Coach does a great job showcasing the strengths of a player (which they should). NFL DC get some film and shut that down.
He doesn't have much film, so he may have a really good second year. He might also throw a bunch of picks. He was drafted on potential, so a poor to mediocre year doesn't mean he won't be good to great.
You just upset Colts fans
He was terrible at Florida, not sure what ppl are expecting 😂. They love combine gladiators
AR5 needs more playtime to develop his skills !!
This guy doesn't like AR lmao
Bryce Young had arguably the worst rookie season ever??? Not even close
love the content but please chill with the giant logo transitions, waaaay too many and it got old real quick
Yep, agree. Ignore him and the Colts this year. Nothing to see really. Hee Hee 🤭
AR will go on to do great things in the league.
I don’t see much difference between him and Fields. 🤷
im calling it he has at least an mvp candidate season. i think ure just hating
And that brought his average (in such a small sample size) way down.
bust due to nonavailability from injuries.
L take
the opposite of cam newton… diet cam newton?
dudes a pocket passer. stats are stats. take away WR drops and ANT is above 60% lol gota watch the games. seeing stuff in game and making plays off that later is not adjusting slow! lol
You can’t be anymore of a hater 😅
Relax.......he'll be fine
