This is a great channel. I am looking to start flipping cars soon. I found out about this stuff during lockdown but back then I was not old enough to drive. Now in 2023 I can drive and am hoping to start this project soon so I can hopefully one day afford my Dream Truck! :)

Well done bud, I don’t film. But I’ve recently started buying cars with issues. Fixing up and selling on. My first was a 2010 A class. Needed an oil cooler. Bought for £250. Sold for £1750 - now I’ve got a 2009 mini which needs a clutch. Bought for £375 - budgeted £200. Should sell for £1800 - £1900 with the age, miles and service history. Keep going with what your doing.
My first car took me 4 weeks from buying, fixing and selling. The mini took me 3 weeks from buying, fixing and selling. But the time depends on weather and work commitments. The average profit is around £1200 a month.
Ha ha. I’m no RUclipsr nor am I a Mechanic. I just enjoy tinkering. There is some fantastic RUclipsrs who make a good living flipping cars. For me it’s more the satisfaction of finding a diamond in the rough and keeping it on the road. I take my hat off to the guys who have the balls to post these videos on RUclips. I could never do this.

This some realistic content! 💯 I’ve been dabbling with flipping cars and got a few quotes for motor trade insurance but it’s too much especially for just selling 1-2 cars a month. Are you using temp insurance just to get car back and forth?
Would you mind helping me please. I am 19, my only problem is that I cant get trader insurance or temp insurance. I got a BCA account but havent registered as a sole trader or a limited company. I watched so many videos about BCA and have so much knowledge on which car I should buy. My only problem if I win a car how am I going to bring it back home? how am I going to take it to a mechanic? No trader plates and no insurance? I have so much knowledge about cars but I cant sort out these 2 problems. I can tax it if its cheap but what about insurance? I would be very happy if you can help me.
Car needs tax if it is going to be on a public road, given this video shows said cars on public roads, my question still stands. So when people come to test drive the vehicle, insurance? I notice this question has been asked many times on other videos and never gets answered. Basically no tax or insurance on these vehicles

Car trailers don't need tax or incurance and you can use the trailer to take it for a mot.

If you buy and sell few cars a year you dont need to, however if you doing it full time you have to get a trader insurance

bit late to reply but if you pay £120 tax for example but only have the car for a month, you’ll get £110 back
