Brandon doesn't understand why mom is getting so small, why the furniture keeps shrinking, or why the ceiling is getting lower. But everyone seems ok with it so it doesn't bother him too much. And he is so good at making do with tiny laps that used to be so big. He's SO CUTE! ❤

There are dogs who are trained to signal their owners about certain medical conditions such as seizures, diabetes and heart conditions due to their extremely sensitive hearing/smell. Diabetics and seizure patients may have a subtle change in smell which the dog can detect and ppl w/ heart conditions have changes in heart rhythms audible to dogs. Hope this helps!

Rescued dogs somehow set out to let their owners know they are grateful. Watching over her with her seizures until she was diagnosed. It's one reason why he stays so close. Dogs know hours before a person will have a seizure. Your body chemistry and smell changes. Dogs are our Angels 😇 on earth.

Probably she took in a maremma sheperd, very popular here in italy. Big fluffy dogs, used by farmers to guard property or livestock against bear and wolfes, they can be pretty fucking intimidating. Some male are over 70kg

My dog is half Great Pyrenees and he's a big boy. Thinks he's a lap dog 🤣
They are extremely loyal. My friend has two and two little dogs. When one of the little dogs was being attacked, one of his Pyrenees stepped in and saved him. Good boy!

When I'm on my period (endometriosis not confirmed yet but signs point to it) and in huge pain when all I can do is just lay in bed and pray the meds kick in quickly, he's right there, next to me. He'll even push my husband away as though he needs space to perform his support role correctly 😆
It's funny because cats have this reputation of aloof pets but once they imprint on you, there's no turning back. I work from home 4 days out of 5 and he's stuck to me, won't leave me out of his sight even when I go to the bathroom 😅
I'm typing this as he's sleeping in my legs even though there's half a bed to lounge in 🥹

He is beautiful. He needs a job. He’s a working dog. He needs to be on a farm working with sheep or cows but he loves you. Maybe you could find him a job? Or create one? Otherwise you’ll have to keep him busy. You are a wonderful person for rescuing him.

Mental stimulation is really important with working breeds. They want to work and have something to stimulate them physically and mentally.
Not quite as critical with flock guardian dogs as with other working breeds. Flock guardians are supposed to stay with the flock and watch for threats, they are definitely high alert dogs, but aren’t the task driven creatures that collie/shepherd types are. To be a good flock guardian, you need to be content just hanging out next to a bunch of rather boring sheep all day looking big and alerting/defending if something dangerous approaches.
@@jiaswan22you are stop on ! He dosnt require too much exercise in fact he doesn’t like to be that active he does loves to watch everything that’s why we work in the 2nd floor where he can watch outside all day 😂 he is still pretty playful as he is still a pup despite the size lol

This reminded me of my dog, Darko. When I rescued him, he as the last of the litter, he was 1 week old and his mother was already given for adoption. I couldnt say no even tho this was hard to hear, I was already there to rescue him, so I didnt know ho big he would be. I put him in foster because he as too small and I couldnt take care properly of such a young puppy. After 3 months, he came back, ready to start a new life with me and it has been 4 years now. He is a Greyhound and labrador mix, we think, his mother was a stray on the street. He is a big skinny fast boy now and I love him.
What a beautiful dog. :) You know, his ancestors most likely fought off and killed packs of wolves. That's what they were bred for, and VERY good at. Extremely dangerous guards. He seems like a very happy, very loved member of the family. :) And I feel very sorry for anyone who means you harm.

He’s just a puppy in a big dog body. What a good boy. I’m so thankful he is in a loving home with incredible pet parents. He might be a lucky dog but it’s you too who are the lucky ones. There is nothing better than cats or dogs to fill your life with endless laughs, love & joy. They make us happier & they make us better. At the end of a stress day, being greeted by a furry face, wet nose & wagging tail is one of the great simple pleasures in life.🙂👍

Oh my goodness, is he a Great Pyrenees?! I can't believe they didn't want such a beautiful puppy and they are an amazing breed. Fiercely loyal and as you said, a working dog. They guard livestock. Maybe in Italy they are more common but even so, you and he are so lucky to have found each other.
