Il Grande Christopher Lee canta in italiano durante la conferenza stapa del Fantafestival
Calling the orcs to Isengard right there.
+Alexander Eriksen He sure did XD
C'è un'empia voce nell'aria.
È SARUMAAAAAN
This is a man whom truly earned his Knighthood.
It's Iago's "Credo in un Dio crudel" (I believe in a cruel God) from Giuseppe Verdi's Otello. It's a great opera - and a great villain! :-)
R.I.P., you brilliant man
that's a pretty powerful set of lungs for a guy in his 80s. no signs of weakening whatsoever. maybe he really is a vampire..
The thing is if you look at him now, and then read Stoker's depiction of the count, that's not an unreasonable opinion.
He had great range in his voice as well. And loved metal band music. For those who are interested I would suggesting looking up Raposdy: The magic of the wizards dream, on RUclips.
For his range try "Name your poison", fantastic!
God Bless Christopher Lee! One of the great, dependable actors and his voice is always a pleasure to listen to, singing or otherwise! :)
Wish I could have gotten to meet this magical man.
I hope every woman in the world made it a point to have sex with Christopher Lee at least once.
Why did you leave us, you beautiful man?
Christopher Lee is the Man! End of conversation.
RIP good sir! We shall never see his like again!
Its truly a blessing to witness this Man. What a Human
Damn! Dracula got pipes!
I miss you
This man truly seemed to have the most chad-accomplished life of all times. Tallest of all actors, fluent on 6 languages, was an important role in WW2, developed a shell for the atrocities he witnessed, interpreted Dracula, most sword scenes on screen, congratulated by many Governs for his military service, was a part of some of the most memorable films of all time, did a power metal album and still he could sing opera...
Semplicemente fantastico! Il tuo canale ha del materiale straordinari, mi iscrivo subito!
Oh, wow, he should have recorded some songs and arias with that impressive voice.
He did! Look for them! The mikado, the gondoliers, "Christopher Lee sings devils and villains".
Oggi christopher avresti compiuto 101 anni,buon compleanno christopher ovunque tu sia
Christopher Lee is EPIC!
He's good, but the acoustics in that room make it sound terrible.
You can only be one !! Tenor, baritone or bass bass ! Lee is an excellent baritone, but he never could sang a tenor part !!
WOW he's still got a voice at that age. lucky him.
Tempo di riscoperte... :)
Truly, one like no other.
@toured87 Who did secret missions for Churchill alongside IAN FLEMING.
Pure class.
Actually he is a dramatic bass. In The Return of Captain Invincible he sings pretty sonorous low D. And no baritone can sing such a low D.
F.e. Vin Diesel is a baritone.
Though Christopher Lee has one of the greatest voices ever.
Other basses (actors) are f.e. Michael Clarke Duncan and Kevin Grevioux.
He had a solid B-Ab1 constantly at the end of his life and has been know to go as low as F1. His wanderin star and Mack the knife renditions were to low to be a mere dramatic bass he was definitely a Profundo.
Rest in Peace.
Wow!
Christopher Lee è un grande...
He is so lovely!
@Gigas0101 - don't forget... WWII veteran
This is the coolest most bad ass and accomplished man of all time.
Quest'uomo è il mio mito. xD Grazie per questo video! XD

This man is a legend. Let's hear you sing an opera when yiu're in the latter part of your eighties.
84, an international acting and musical star, charismatic and intellegent... The list of attributes goes on and he manages to sum most of it up in this one clip.
Christopher Lee is the apotheosis of excellence.
Fascinating! So you can only be one kind of opera singer, ok, good to know. But is it possible to be able to sing both baritone and rock, two completely different music styles?
Thank you!
OMG...Dracula sing Opera ! 😜
No, she is the translater
Credo in un Dio crudel che m'ha creato…🤩✨
He is actyally 86 years :)
Fucking badass.
Sad he never earned an Oscar. RIP
E' di origine Italiana, Emiliano.
I`m awaiting him portraying a good-person role, instead of an evil one like he's used. I bet he's a fantastic person in real life and deserves a character that depicts him in that way.
@Dakota Matos Hi, thanks for the info! I'm still alive! 🤣
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Count dooku 😌
Words to live by
Wow.
Favorited. =D
Iago
See? That statement actually had some validity to it (subjective validity, but still, validity). Rather than reiterating your contemptuous "blah blah blah" post, you actually put some thought into that newer one.
That wasn't so hard, was it?
Like a boss
If you don't have anything intelligent or acute to post, you shouldn't be posting at all.
Does anybody know which opera this is from?
Otello by Verdi
What does he say at 26.00 - "without a sense of...? " What a great singing voice he still has in his 80s, wow
If you don't mind getting an answer after 12 years he says in Italian: "senza una prova". (Whithout reharsal/trial). His Italian is exeptional both speaking and singing almost indistinguishable from a native.
BLADE : " I don't like his song...."
Or an immortal wizard. XD Saruman and Gandalf were Maiar aka demigods in Lord of the Rings.
Every time I see him, all I can ever see is Count Dooku. Rip
@TheWarmLittleCentre James Earl Jones is pretty much a definition of Bass *lol*
@ProiezioniMentali
Yes...and probably more ;)
@TheWarmLittleCentre Yes, he is.
@Kotlettbengt
I think not.
Ma uot?
The moment he started singing you could see the woman on his left began to start feeling strong emotions
Like, strong strong emotions...
y, u can
Which song???
When singing opera, can you master different styles or are you always only a baritone, only a tenor, etc?
You can sing some roles that are just above or below your range with some transposing but generally even if you have a wide range it's not advisable.It can cause strain to push your voice to it's limits frequently and with that level of projection and you rarely sound your best. However some things are just not doable realistically, a tenor could never do a bass role and Vice versa properly at least.
