    Backing track is synced to 110 bpm. I used a phase cancelling to attenuate the original bass track.
    The tab animation is from a Guitar Pro 6 software.
    You can support me on Patreon where I have all my tabs in PDF and GPX.

    I hope you'll like my cover and It'll help you to play the song the way it was recorded. Keep making the low end sound awesome! :-)
    Check my band The Midnight Thunder - we've recently released new album and a single!

      I love Mafia games! In fact the first and last were made in my country - it's our best games by far. I was not aware that this song was in the third game. Thanks for mentioning that and a nice comment! :)

    I love this song. It's got so much energy I always feel hyped up when I listen to it. The technique in this one is pretty clear. The only thing I recommend is playing the eight notes sections only on E string (as I do in the video), because as you can hear in the original track the bassist often sprinkles in some slides. I didn't put them into the tab because they're kinda random and it's best to keep it that way :-).

    Вот за что я люблю твои cover, так за то, что ты всегда находишь интересные песни, в которых отличная партия баса ! В этом плане ты один из лучших на ютубе. Здорово, что ты снова в деле!)) Привет из Москвы!))

      Спасибо за приятный комментарий! Это и есть моя цель. Я стараюсь слушать песни, которых не знаю, записываю все, что меня интересует, и пытаюсь понять, почему они такие хорошие. Нет смысла работать над одними и теми же песнями снова и снова. Хорошего дня и спасибо!

    if i can give u a recommendation i think you should cover night rider by tom misch and my way soon by greta van fleet!!

    • @HarryMusicStuff
      @HarryMusicStuff  3 года назад +1

      Wow I have to say both songs sounds awesome. Especially the night rider. But maybe a bit complicated to transcribe and learn fast enough. It is filled with ghost notes and we don't have that good friendship if you know what I mean. But maybe that is the reason to start with them. I will see.

    Where did you get that cover from ? Nothing to do with the original, just another digression miles away from original spirit ? We're simply not talking about the same song and bass line...by Donald Dunn himself. Nice playing though...

    Would you be interested in covering a Polica tune? Like TIFF?

    Their bass player is pretty good and Tiff has some nice riffs. I would like to learn to play it so much but no tabs or covers anywhere.
