Backing track is synced to 142 bpm and was was done by me. Drums are MIDI as well as the vocals, guitar is played by me - I am planning to do a guitar cover also if I manage to play those damned triplets properly :-).

So Blondie is apparently an another youtube blocker. It's a shame I already recorded half of their best of album :-D. It is a huge effort for me to do the full backing track as well. More songs coming soon and I hope I will also manage to do a guitar cover of them. Hope you'll like it!

Nice cover! But the whole time I was thinking, "no, the original must have more swing in the bass line." I just went back and checked the original recording, and you're right. Chris Stein played straight quarter notes under the guitar riff. Good job, and thanks for the inspiration!

The song has a synth bass part in eights parallel to the bass guitar. If you are playing without the synth bass you have to fill in for it and find a way to create the same tension, probably a more busy bass line
