At first I was wondering why Gene Wood, who was better known for his announcing, was on the panel here. I guess at the time he was hosting the version of "Beat the Clock" that was being taped in Montreal. He had to step from behind the camera to in front after previous host Jack Narz left the show.
I liked Bud Colyer so much better than Garry Moore. Garry hogs the air time as much as he possibly can. Bud didn’t do that, and we had time for three sessions!
After Game 5 in '69,his sign read:THERE ARE NO WORDS.
This was enjoyable as a Mets fan. I knew that Karl was number 2 but it was still fun to watch.
This is incredible. Wonderful post!!!! So grateful.
Love seeing this again. Thank’s LuLu.
I wonder why Buzzr airs only episodes of To Tell The Truth from 1973 and 1974. They have been airing a few episodes from the fifties, though.
Number 3 is my grandpa! He passed away just a few years ago. This gave me a good laugh!
He did a great job on the game show. My condolences.

Jack Narz left Beat the Clock when the producers stopped paying him for commuting from California to Montreal.
Of course Bill Cullen gets it right, he was the most perceptive of the panelists AND a big (Pittsburgh) sports fan.
OMG Is this my Johnny? Roger must have booked him as an imposter. I don’t remember this. Great to see my best friend, again. jimmy
