Hi Ed! I wonder what happened to the Fantom-0 tutorial series here at the Support channel. All of a sudden it didn’t continue - even with a kind of cliffhanger. I really hope that you will continue that Fantom-0 tutorial series soon!
Hi Ed I thought you would dive alittle deeper into the piano roll or do we have to wait for a upgrade which is needed but I'm sure everyone besides myself is in need of a deeper dive in the piano roll. Thanks Thanks for your help
Hi. i have little issue with workstations: you must stop the sequencer switch presets while midi clock received. maybe you can help with this answer: if the roland fantom-O in slaved to external clock is possible to switch presets\banks\sets\ without stop it. thank you
That's what I like the most about the Fantom 0. You can always manipulate things coming from multiple directions. The same applies to sound design. The sound can be altered coming at it from so many different angles that range from simply playing with the available filters that all sound fantastic, the mfx and all the fx available, or tweaking partials in crazy ways while joining zones to create a fantastically wide sound. That being said, the sequencer is truly lacking in basic functionality. If you have a pattern with a length of 4 and you'd now like it to repeat for 32 cause you want to record filter sweeps or something, you have no option that modify length that allows that option. The closest you have is to try to copy and paste in the piano roll and even that's a weird process. I'm hoping it's stuff they can fix in an update. (Or I discover that there was indeed a better way....I cant find it.)
Let´s go ahead and press the ... and go ahead and we went ahead.... am I the only who can´t focus on the actual content because of all the "go ahead"s in each and every single sentence?
Ed Diaz is the best Roland instructor. I have been learning from him for years
