Thank you very much ZT Audio, you are great. You use the Rhythm-Pattern in the pads and then in the pattern recording, now I understood. Excellent. It was easy :-) When I have any doubt, I write you. Thank you again
ZT, how to overdub the pattern when recording wrong instead of deleting.. or erasing it in real time? In Rec - Destination only mix or new is given I don't see there over dub option.
Hello there Ask for help. When I use fantom the normal recording mode, I choose the waitnote mode, but I cannot record by pressing the piano keyboard. I must press start to record. Can you tell me how to solve it?
Great video! That only works on channel 10 though, the default for drums on MIDI. If you were to try recording Rhythm patterns on any other channel it won't work.
This video was very helpful!! Do you think you can make a video on how to upload a midi file from your usb to the pattern sequencer and get it to play? I’ve been struggling with this and could use some help
Wesley Carrington I’m on a low key hiatus until next week. I like the idea of your request, so it’s definitely on my list of things to do. I am trying to balance that against the likelihood that Roland is probably going to release another firmware update before NAMM. I am trying to do videos that have a long “shelf life”.
How to send these patterns to those pink pads 1, and 2 how to program them to launch with beats launching and changing with key change on the left of the keyboard?
Now, my dear ZT Audio, I would like to propose a new question: How can I use MIDI data from an external device to play the internal sound generator with the internal sequencer? Thank you.
I tried recording Rythem pattern in track 1, but nothing shows up. If I record in track 10 than it works only. How can record in track 1 the Rhythm pattern? I am missing something?
Make sure you have done 2 things: 1. Select a Drum Kit in Zone 1. Make sure that Zone 1 is selected before you start recording. That's probably the issue you are experience.
@@ZTAudio I did the same but doesn't work. I had noticed when I select Rhythm Pattern button by default it get selected in Zone 10...When you sit on the keyboard next, kindly check for me that how can record Rhythm Pattern in Zone 1 if possible.
Mr. Allen, I'm sorry to always ask you to solve all my doubts. But you are the only one who records beautiful tutorials. When I load a wav file into a sample pad, I'd like to know how I record it in the sequencer.Thank you so much.
Hi, just wanted to let you know I really rely on your videos for truly digging into the seamingly limitless possibilities on the fantom. Wanted to ask if you would post a video on how, and specifically where to save a tone I've changed. I don't want to obliterate the original tone and wanted to know if there is a place within the fantom itself I can neatly save tones I've changed. Thank you in advance
@@ZTAudio Kindly do also tutorial video of adding effects to Drum kit individual parts and also recording the automation like resonance, attack, decay, opening cut off and closing. I am not able to figure how to do that. Only I figure out automating the volume and pan and thats recorded in pattern mode or in clip
How about something in depth on the fx routing? It can be confusing having both tone fx and global fx... eg i really love the sound of the analogue filter (its a global fx), but i dont necessarily want it on everything in the scene. I cant find a way to switch each zone or tone to bypass analogue filter!
Please flesh that out a bit more. I would not expect to be able to use the local keys with in LocalOff mode, so I am confused that you'd post that as if it were some kind of error or bug, The MIDI IN part requires clarification as well ... not sure exactly what you mean.
"I hope I'm pronouncing that name right" Close enough 😉 Thanks for the shout! Keep up the good work, these videos are really helpful. Much appreciated
Muy bien very good formidable..bien animo con todas las cosas y vayamos con alegrías..

Great help and improves with the overall functionality of the Fantom.

Very nice tutorial videos. Thanks a lot ! It's simple, pertinent, very well explained and sympathic ! Keep up the good work !

Hey, I have the same problem. Did you solve it?

Sideshow Bob thank you. That was driving me nuts.

Hey! What if I want to make a 6/8 beat? Is that possible

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but it sounds a bit like you want the Fantom to be an “arranger” type keyboard ... the Fantom is not an arranger.
Now, my dear ZT Audio, I would like to propose a new question: How can I use MIDI data from an external device to play the internal sound generator with the internal sequencer?
Thank you.
That's coming!
ZT Audio wow!!!
and you no doubt will deliver. Really appreciate your tie on these videos ZT!!
Does it have wavetable oscillators and fm synthesis?
Would be great if you can make a tutorial of how to add effects on a snare or clap individually after adding the drum kit on a Fantom
I am taking note of requests, but I'm not making promises.
ZT Audio That’s really kind of you :-)
Show some of the pre set sounds they have in that bad boy !!!

Nice video. Learning a lot from it
How do you duplicate a pattern within the TR-REC
How can I play a MIDI file ...?
My biggest complaint about my new Fantom is using it with a DAW like Cubase. Once local is turned off everything changes and not for the best.
That's an area I intend to explore.
Пожалуста сделайте и покажите как играет автоакомпонимент
Thank you, very useful :)
Awesome! Great Info. Thanks 😊
Muito bom o teclado, se eu pudesse comprava um desses..
You have stopped making Roland Fantom videos :-(
Nope. More on the way.

Why don't they add styles of an aranger, and we'll have a complete keyboard.
carlyle Because it’s a professional workstation, and not an arranger.
carlyle who is this “we” you speak of?
How much is this Roland function?
It’s included.
None of this can be done with “local off”. Keyboard does not track through midi in.

I like workstation keyboards.. korg etc..
Roland is gud
Not have Accompaniment ...??? Not good
Lebat john This is not an “arranger” type of keyboard. It’s not supposed to have auto-accompaniment.
What a horrid sequencer!
