  • This video demonstrates a taping method designed to control foot pronation. The method was first proposed by Professor Bill Vicenzino and is called the 'Augmented Low Dye' technique. Research exists indicating it can reduce dynamic arch height during walking and running, even following 20 minutes of exercise. Consider using it where you consider control of foot pronation may effectively manage pain and symptoms (e.g. plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, patellofemoral pain, etc.) or to help determine the potential for foot orthoses to be effective.
