Back when I played HeartGold and SoulSilver, Red was BY FAR the HARDEST opponent I've ever had in Pokemon ever. Because Red was like the final boss for me in general, all the other Pokemon battles are incredibly easy. Learn from my mistakes, Kids...NEVER underestimate how OP Red is.
Gold is very friendly with pokemon, he gets along with pretty much any he comes across, I believe this because friendship is key in Johto region (gen 2 because it was introduced and gen 4 he walks with them and you well you know)
We need an update to the 1st mod with Red's part being silent until the halfway mark of the song, in which he then starts to sing at basically 2× the speed you sang before
Now that I’ve seen the first vs Red mod with BF and with Gold, both of which are amazingly done. All I need to see is the same mod but replace gold with a Digimon Tamer and let’s see a Pokémon vs Digimon battle. You could even use the Digimon 8-bit sprites from the toys as partners for the players.
@Ilias K Yeah, that's because Sun and Moon take place a good 10-15 years after the events of Gold/Silver/Crystal, in older gens the rule is that they leave at 10, from gen 5 onward was when the rule was changed since the gen 5 and 6 protags are around 15 when they start. So Gold would still be 10, and Red would be 13 in their battle on Mt. Silver.

Changing the level wouldn't make sense, mostly since the level represents Gold's age which is 10 at the time of his battle with Red.
