Hi guys... Good to see that you're doing OK... Congratulations on your Jeep... Also congratulations on your little one... Stay safe and enjoy your trip... Thanks for the video...J&A
Nice video. The editing was very good. You will enjoy the Jeep - we did the "Jeep life" for 10 years and had some great off-road adventures, hope you have as much fun with it as we did!
Thanks Jack. We see so many areas where the Smart is not "appropriate" to drive that we had to pull the trigger. More to come. Thanks for the comments.
Those windows are turbo fast indeed! First I ever heard of that feature, and I can imagine how valuable it was when battling those mosquito swarms in Alaska a year later.
I stumbled upon your channel and I am really enjoying it. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing and I have so many questions but going to watch all posts before I bombard you with my questions. Be safe 😍
When doing a partial fueling, don't worry about getting the same amount in each tank. The truck will do that automatically. My company occasionally has me get 65 gallons to get to a cheaper place. I've filled just the driver's tank and immediately parked for the night. When parked, the gauge went from full to about half.
Thanks, Jamie. I did that once and the next day it leveled out...I didn't like it since I thought I had put more in than it showed! Thanks for the comment and appreciate you watching the channel. 😊

Dave when you are pulling the Jeep behind your 5th wheel, do you have to have fuel in the Jeep, other than what you would need if you weren’t pulling it??
Great question, Paul. We pull our Jeep behind the Class C motorhome. It does not use any fuel while being towed. Also, the odometer does not increment mileage either since the engine is off. The Jeep free wheels while being towed.
I'm not sure what kind of shocks you guys are running on there, if their stock you might want to spend a little bit more money and upgrade your shocks it'll make all the difference. Jeeps are great 👍
We love the Jeep. They are upgraded shocks but not real good upgrades. We're going to look into that but the ride is pretty good. Thanks for the comments and appreciate your time watching the channel. 💫
Thanks Jose. Since we are registered as a private truck then we do not need a CDL. In Texas, you must have a Class A (non-commercial) endorsement which means you take a written and road test. Appreciate your time watching the channel. Thanks for the comment. 🤙😎

If there isn’t a video like that can you please tell me if your truck is a Volvo VNL 780 and year and where you got Orion from. Thanks so much.
Hey Ervin, we just started our channel late in the game so nothing yet on the purchase process. It's a 2016 Volvo VNL 780. We purchased new and have driven it since late 2015. Ok, guys had Cindy talked in to a sbs. Was looking at a Polaris for $20,000. Then I had a brain fart. Decided to go to my favorite educational TV. RUclips and typed a search for lifted Smart car. And guess what I found some guys have turned there smarts into off road rigs. So we decided to turn our Smart in to an on road off-road car. And its still legal to drive on the highways and off road. Where as a sbs is not in most states. By the way the kit cost about $3000. Will be putting a winch on it. Also by doing this we free up our Toyhauler garage for our office/extra bedroom.
