Greetings!! Im going to tackle this in the next couple of days! Gotta put them with black widow, then watch the whole thing to map what colors where if that makes sense so i dont have to search for what i need!! Im so excited and nervous!! Im going to try the beautiful brick work too!! I hope i can do it justice!! I want to do the bee hive but this is calling me!!

I'm almost done with another coloring page in Rooms of Wonder and I was planning on starting this one next!

The only reason I haven't started this one is because I get a little intimidated by those 2 page spreads lol! I don't have Lost Ocean but it's definitely on my list of must haves! As far as Johanna Basford coloring books, I just have Worlds of Wonder and Rooms of Wonder, but I plan to get all of her coloring books, and Lost Ocean and Magical Jungle are next on my list! I love Lost Ocean it’s one of my favourite books and subjects to colour, it does have lots of tiny details though. World of Flowers has to be my next favourite Johanna book 😁

Thanks Vanessa, I’ve loved colouring this page, brings back memories of my very first colouring book Lost Ocean.
I used Micador workable matte fixative. I show you the can in part 2 which will be up tomorrow 😁
Incredible I am wondering if you plan the colours you use or if you just look at the picture and are sure which colours you need to get the effect. I love it
Hi Angelika, it honestly depends on the day and page. I do prefer to pick pictures to colour that I can picture completed in my head but it doesn’t always happen

So nice, Is it just me or does anyone else pull the black lines into your colors? Like the cloud blue .
Do you mean when you colour with a lighter colour it pulls some black from the lineart making the light colour smudgy? It doesn’t happen to me in this book but it has happened before, if it’s just this book it’s happening to maybe try a workable fixative before starting.
