Not going to lie; most of my knowledge of Illustrator is self-taught and RUclips taught, so videos like this that smooth over rough edges and fill in gaps are my favorite. Thank you so much for keeping experienced beginners in mind when you choose what videos to make!
this is great! I had just rediscovered Graphic Styles and was creating them from the Appearance menu I had no idea I could highlight the object and just create a new style!

Am a graphic designer in mns company only after watching your videos principles,fonts,color psychology you are doing great. Pls teach us the two combination of logo creation ideas eg. coffee+ hat = logo in illustrator
Is photoshop or illustrator is the best to learn first when starting from zero to become a graphic designer? Are there any basic courses on youtube of illlustrator?
Off topic: any chance on seeing videos on motion design - if you do the content on your own, you obviously know a thing or two in that department also👍
Wow this was actually your most helpful video for me. I use Coreldraw most of the time but like to do logo design with illustrator. I get super frustrated with nested groups, clipping masks and selecting nodes. Any tips for those?
About the kerning trick - You can adjust the kerning in between individual letters if you highlight one letter, and increase/decrease the numbers in the box, no?

I would say both. They are both equally important and it's a great idea to have good skills in both of them.
When i first learn about illustrator i often press ctrl+h instead of ctrl+g and it freaked me out a lot hahaha

2:40 or alternatively make the group a Symbol before you Duplicate them and than edit the Symbol
