I do not drift, I basically destroy every fence in Forza. So if you drive and never notice a fence, you know.

Honestly I tried drifting on my wheel tonight I have a new found respect for those who drift on Logitech wheels. Mind you I don't have the first clue on how to actually drift. I've tried ac car X beam ng and can't figure it out on either have without turning on assists. I'm a decent driver when I'm in control anyways go into a slide and she gone. A controller is a whole other ball game compared to the wheel.

@@dawsonc0 some personal reasons took me away from the game for a bit but when i play everyday i see an improvement from day to day, probably took atleast a week until i could do some drift donuts in roundabouts

If the car still doesn't drift how you like it or you're going for maximum points in drift zones try decreasing rear camber and/or increasing your front toe out and soften your rear anti roll bar, you're welcome

did you change any settings for force and sensitivity for your wheel? if so can you link the software for your steering wheel
You can change it on the Logitech g hub.
what a incomplete video , you didn't shown the ghub ffb or centering ... nor you shown in-game ffb + damp + understeer + centerinv

Thank you but I wanted to know what do you use for handbrake or do you even use one
You use handbrake for extending a drift or initiating the drift. To initiate you turn the wheel facing the opposite direction at a good speed use the handbrake and the clutch quickly let the wheel spin to the other direction and then you hold the drift as explained in the video. To extend a drift you turn the wheel to face the direction you are drifting then press the handbrake and clutch

First video of watching on your channel and I’m impressed , I can only drift with awd cars because I always seem to spin out , I’ve never fully locked a differential or used street tires but I’ll give it a try next time I’m on forza , thank you
BRO SAME ! It’s soo annoying I can drift any awd with no problem but as soon as I get in a RWD car I start spinning out basically as soon as I start my drift

Finally got it down check out valorster drift tutorial he has his tube available as well I can now drift any rwd car

i got a g920 yesterday and it feels really weird with drifting, at first when i got it everything was so bad so i fixed the setting ann now i can drive fast but cant drift, the problem is that when i counter steer the car would not take a angle it just spins out, its not because im gving too much gas because i tried giving it as little gas as i could for a drift and it did the same thing, so does anyone know how i can keep my car sideways and not always ending up in a wall or some bushes
that happens to me too, but im going to try out what he says and see if it makes an improvement

@@amarz reversing force feedback fixed it for me its in advanced settings for steering wheel

@@finck9226 nah, just unplug it every time you don’t play and it’ll get normal, I jaws unplugging it for the first week and a half then stopped playing on it for another week. Then hopped on one day and it was normal, you just have to play with the settings tho.

my steering wheel turns on its own and steer assist os off, what do i do?
i have a logitech g29 and when i try to turn or drift my wheel will jerk all over the place and ive tried changing my setting and nothing works, for example ill try to drift and my wheel will jerk all over and ill spin out also when i spin out ill hold the gas down and my wheel will do full rotations left and right, anyone have a fix???

I know this is mad old but I just got into racing games and got my first wheel (g29), and I don't understand how when you first started at the horizon festival and you went from right to left you didn't immediately go into the left wall. Every time I try that's what happens.
You're good but 1 recommendation would be to use the throttle more and let go off the wheel just a bit more

I can do this on controller with ease and I get the concept of when to straighten and the concept of keeping a drift going but it’s the not sliding out when and how I should be using my wheel and how much acceleration to be putting in

Bit Late but my wheels just dont spin. Im on a g920 and put the foot down in gear four but it just drives slowly and the wheels don't spin
I had one insane clean drift on keyboard and i just got my Logitech G29 and i cant drift with my wheel bc I can turn it much more then my thrustmaster 2 in 1 rumble it cant do more then a 180 degrees

I recommend looking up a video about understeering and oversteering. There is a adjustement slide of understeering in the advance menu under wheels option. Near the bottom is the slide. I set mine to 66, attempt to drift to see how much traction i have when making sharp turns and then adjust accordingly if it's too slippery and forces you into an unctrollable spin then increase the setting. If you find there is too much traction and you're not getting enough speed then lower the understeering. Everyone has their preferences so it may take a while to figure out your ideal settings in horizon 4. I really do hope they improve on wheel support on horizon 5.
