@@SomKing123 yeah drifting with a drift build is easy, not with story cars where you can’t tweak anything on the car. also forza can’t make up its mind on what counts towards a drift score, I’ll do a perfect drift drive for miles with the Vocho, but I’ll only end up with around 10k points

Honestly what helped me a lot is practicing with stock rwd cars, usually all i would modify is stance, tires and tuning the gearing through a race transmission, only once i learned the feel of the car a little. I noticed i enjoyed a few gears being a bit longer in the low end through this process. I kept going to those roundabouts and controlling my car going both ways.
First time playing this at the gaming shop, it was magical and unique experience, especially the wheel feedback was shocking and difficult, I gotta say am addicted to this , and Soon enough imma buy my own set up
I didn’t regularly play forza maybe every month or so but once I understood that the throttle is a big part and stopped just pressing down on it and used it as I f I was just giving the drift a bit of juice I managed to get the drifting down and I really enjoy the game a lot now play it mroe often as well now.
Here's a quick tip for you: make sure you start in 5th gear for the round about drift, it'll gradually speed up, but speed up fast enough for you not to instantly crash, I figured it out a few minutes ago and it's pretty good.
I have Fanatec DD pro with Mclaren GT3 steering wheel. I should get a "fully and round" steering wheel for it. You are the first who gives advice on how to do it with the steering wheel. Others are using a controller and in some cases, it might be easier with the controller. In another rally game, I did drive faster with the controller

My tips is put steering to assisted and swap handbrake from B to your clutch then find a good balance between handbrake and gas, while steering like a boss, honestly feels sooooo much better than simulation or standard steering, and u dont have to practise for hours just to do a simple drift,

I see you also don't use full 900. 90 degree and you turned on the square. I tried drifting with mine new thrustmaster tx and the only thing which worked for me is to lower maximum rotation to 500 degrees, then any other setting was just altering the feeling, not affecting really if drift is possible or not. I see the problem is it takes time for the wheel to contr rotate, then my car goes left and right and finally I end up in bushes. Lowerin maximum rotation was the only thing help. By looking on your video I don't believe u use full 900. wheels of your car fully turn when you drift and do only 180 turn on your wheel
You have to learn how to kinda tap the throatle and one more thing for controlling were you re going while you re drifting is, let go of throatle sometimes you dont have to have the foot on all the time to drift, you have to find the biting point where your wheels start to spin and hold it there then start doinh what i said before let go if you re going too fast and push it again when you need to extend the drift. You can tap the break too if you need to cur the speed a bit
If anyone is having trouble learning with traffic, try creating a blue print, and turn traffic and npcs off, to focus on and improve your driving skills
What if you have to keep the centering spring off for the wheel to be usable, I've been trying to learn it and as my wheel is a g29 my centering spring is off so my wheel becomes usable
I do not, but one thing you can do is use the clutch pedal as your e brake. Or get a physical e brake and of course use that. If you choose to use the clutch pedal as your e brake, then you will not be able to use the clutch anymore, so either run it as auto or regular manual.

On a controller I have set leader board records but since using the TMX cant seem to get a good drift , In A.C I can drift same with Grid , FM its just as hard .

Not sure what happened, I think my settings reset, but when I first got my wheel and put some settings I randomly found on it, I was drifting very well instantly. Dont take a year plus break!
anybody have any tips? when im trying to drift I have to make every wheel turn manually. the wheel doesn't automatically center or move a single inch without me doing it. Isnt it supposed to react to how the car is moving, so if you change direction of the drift the wheel should pretty much automatically go to the other side quickly? and you just have to let go and then grab it against and do fine movements to keep the drift going? i have to manually spin it like 5 times for the wheel to get into the knew position....
Does anybody knows if he plays without wheel force? I play on a G29 and I can have high force, so that the wheel is hard to turn but snaps back to neutral. Then I can play without any force (it seems like he does that) and some medium force. But thats crap because it does not center very well.
My set up is Xbox series X and thrustmaster TX leather edition. When I wanted make similar settings like yours in forza horizon 5 I dont have the options after vibration scale. No Option for FFB, no damper, no spring etc. At the moment my wheel has its own mind..just keeps spinning out if I throttle more than 60kms. Feels so frustrating.

Me going from being decent on a controller to absolute shit on a wheel. Also being with a g29 instead of a g920, force feedback doesn't work on forza, or maybe just something else i have to do on ghub to make force feedback work on PC games. I can sorta drive fine, but drifting is physically impossible for me, I can't even counter steer, as soon as the car counter steers, it's already spinning again as if I didn't just turn the wheel As of day 0, I can't even hold a drift longer than 0.2 seconds
I think the reason it's difficult with a wheel is because you're using your foot not your finger and easier to control the throttle with your finger than is your foot
I think the game recognizes my T150 as a controller, because the wheel is completely light in the middle and almost dead stiff around 90 degrees to the sides. Can you help me fix it please? Can't find anyone to have this problem.
I have copied your setting on the r32 skyline and still impossible to Control. When u say u let the steering wheel come back, then steer it for the next Corner I don't think my steering wheel is doing that for me because when I let go of steering & wait for it to come back so I can steer to the next turn its all over before I can get the steering under control. I've also tried other tunes and no look. I got the hang of it on forza 4 but not happening on this game

Start with low HP and get good at entry and drift physics. As you get better you up the HP on your car for higher speeds and deeper angles.

I just keep spinning out or I just over correct it when I turn to drift the other way.

No matter how much i counter steer and no matter how slightly i touch the gas, i still keep spinning out
It's going to be like that for a little while. Took me a few hours to get the hang of drifting the roundabout. Keep trying

You can also map the clutch pedal to the hand brake. Works great as a substitute for clutch kick

It works! I’ve heard stories of the clutch not working so you aren’t the only one. Hopefully this gets patched soon
You have to change the controller layout for the clutch. Mine was set to the A button as default for Forza

Try no road or off road feedback, i also play with no centre spring i find it less jolty
Also i do teering linearity up a little bit its more stable while drifting just wobbles if u let it on straights

You definitely need it. Try this:
Set force feedback scale to 0.8 and minimum force feedback to 0.5

Try a rwd car. The skyline is awd so it will feel much different for drifting. I’d recommend the FD Supra on factory tune to try out
