Fixing the display flicker with dell precision 5510 connected to external monitor

When connecting a 4K screen to dell precision 5510 a display flicker is noticed from time to time on the external monitor
To fix that install latest graphics driver from Intel

Oops. mine is XPS 9550, which is different from yours. I can not install that driver. I still got the flicking problem.

thanks for this video & link.. Aye Caramba what a pain trying to get this connected to my 3K monitor. Many trips to Best Buy and Staples..Apple.. etc. Nothing.. Will order the cable from Google.. thanks!

How did you connect the 4k screen to the laptop? DisplayPort to USB 3? does it support 60hz ? is it IPS?

+Jin Park I bought a USB-C to display port from Google Store, quite short cable, not too many options on the market at the moment, and it works at 60Hz, HDMI will do 30Hz only
