Much prefer getting these autos of names I know and are good players, than the licensed practice squad autos panini floods their products with 😅
When I was breaking, we'd always toss in a leaf box to add some spice to our retail breaks. Leaf my be unlicensed, but they make some of the coolest looking cards in the hobby and the way they take feedback should be the gold standard for the industry.
I personally love Leaf, so much nostalgia ❤ 💪 💯..., I want that Dan Marino!
I picked up one of these 2023 Pro Set Pure boxes on eBay Live recently for the hell of it. Pulled a Pure Instincts Nathan Carter 4/10, a Sheer Delight Zay Flowers🎉 3/8, and a CJ Stroud rookie 4/8 holo crystal bronze spectrum.
Its nice to mix it up. I collected growing up in the 90s and Leaf was Bomb
Always appreciate the content rgl. I love leaf,i was a little disappointed the last time i ripped it tho. Had a lot of peeling on the back edges for some reason.

Love your content and this was a great rip. My last leaf experience was the exact opposite. It was press pass and a human being actually put a destroyed Cameron rising card in there. Made videos of the rip and sent the card back to Leaf. Still waiting to see what happens. Keep up the great work RGL.Thanks.

You got some quality players there Keenan Allen is a stud then Warren Sapp and Brady Cook with a phenomenal auto as well.
Im a big fan of Leaf i think they do a great job. The designs are super cool like the glitter Marino is such a good looking card.

Still haven't been converted into a Leaf guy, but I do like the cards that look like old sets, vs. the Exotic etc. designs. The only leaf card I have been looking at buying is the Al Bundy auto from a year or two ago.
I want to see you get a hold of some 2017 Leaf Metal or 2017 Optic Mega and chase Patty Mahomes RC Auto's.
Thanks for the video! I ripped a box of this product last week and I got cooked! Knew I was in trouble when George Pickens was the card on top, and I was dusted when I pulled TJ Finley as the 3rd card. I'll still give Leaf auto hobby boxes a spin in the future.

Nice hits RGL! Leaf have made themselves relevant again. It's not for everybody, but nothing really is if we're being honest. I'd like to see more throwback designs from Leaf's early days. A CJ Stroud, in the 1949 design would be epic.

Just a thought for anyone at Leaf who may be watching.
I think that older collectors will probably always prefer licensed cards with team logos, because that's just what they grew up with and still want to see.
However, I primarily collect cards for/with my nephews, ages 12 and 8.
They do follow some favorite teams, but seem to care most about individual players and how cool the cards look.
For example. I have never given them cards and had them say, "but these cards aren't licensed, so they're just lame."
Leaf offers cards with great designs at moderate prices. That works for me and the kids.
If I were Leaf, I might focus more on marketing cards to younger collectors who may not have as much of a pre existing "anti non licensed product" bias, as older collectors.
I wonder if these cards would gain more value if leaf got re-licensed
I’ve been big on leaf for a while now. I can honestly say I’ve bashed panini and fanatics pretty hard on twitter but have only had kind words for leaf.

I like this set & the checklist, but boxes are not worth $200. I just picked up 2 boxes for just over $200 total. I feel that is the sweet spot where I will either lose or make a little.
It is like Panini One Football but 3 autos instead of 1 for 1/3 off the price!
Bought two boxes for $80 a piece very affordable now
pro set should've been taken out to the woods and popped with a 12guage long, long ago
I would like it if more of the photos they use had players with their helmets off. I'm not anti- unlicensed products but some photoshopped helmets look off without the logos. There's a few Emmitt Smith leaf cards with his helmet off that great.
Feel like should be like 150.00 max
RGL - tell Leaf to buy the Pro Line rights and bring back 1991 style Pro Line Portraits.
LEAF has always gotten auto's other companies cant get.. Leaf has well established themselves to get mostly any auto you need... i love Leaf idc what others say!!
It's a nice product. I think I would rather just buy single autos than rip this stuff honestly. I also like the degeneracy of chasing 5 figure cards I'm ridiculously expensive boxes
Leaf is leaps n bounds above panini. But I don't want this to go to their head and start raising prices even more

To be honest, I never truly liked the LEAF products. There’s something about the look that doesn’t give it that authenticity you get with licensed stuff. That said, if it’s just the autographs you are looking for, it’s cool I suppose.

Keep the auto sets to 5 or more autos. Only 3 is the reason I won't buy this one. It's a skip for me
I know leaf would have to charge more for products if they got licensed but in no way would they come close to charging what panini does and leaf has way more memorabilia and autos and better designs....people are fools for buying panini's overpriced garbage...I stopped buying blasters and megas before covid because they went above $20 a blaster and $45 for megas...people buying paninis overpriced crap has fed the greed machine and now they are running jet fuel in overdrive on everyone's dime
