That relay just saved me a lot of time. Blown fuse, now starts great and ABS lamp off. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Chris,DO NOT USE COPPER GREASE on slide pins...it will DESTROY the rubber boots!!!
Use SILICONE GREASE or CERAMIC GREASE!

Nice diagnosis! Good work resoldering the joints on the OVP relay, preventing possible future problems. But on this case it would be very unlikely for the OVP to be causing the problem, because although one of its most common failure symptoms is the ABS light turning on and the tachometer stops to work, but it doesn't really affect the function of the ABS, as far as I know.

I was thinking that same thing after I re-tinned the OVP Relay, so I appreciate this comment. Hopefully viewers will see this and help further diagnose whatever issue they may be having.

Great video. I have exactly the same issue on my 190e and the pins never crossed my mind. I have already cleaned the sensors, but that somehow made the problem even more intense :D Specifically before cleaning it would jitter just once and turn on the light, but after cleaning it takes more like 5 stops for it to iluminate. Hope this will finally fix my issue. Had the relays pulled out so I dont expierence the jittering after every start :D

Never had an abs issue with any car i've owned, maybe it's becuase I stick to Toyota/Lexus and some hondas?, have to say it seems very annoying to diagnose.

You may have had very well maintained cars as well. The Tahoe had 2 separate brake related issues. Had an ABS light on for a while and it ended up being an unplugged sensor after diagnosing with a high end scanner. The other was what I stated in the video related to previous mechanics skimping on brake jobs.
My Astro currently has ABS issues related to locking up brakes, and I have yet to fully figure that out. I am replacing the emergency brake cable tomorrow in hopes that is the issue. If it isnt, I will be back to square one and probably replacing the brake master cylinder again.
The Merc was luckily relatively easy after I broke down all the steps.
It can be very annoying haha.
