When gays and lesbians boycotted Chik-Fil-A because the CEO supported traditional marriage then Chik-fil-A got more business then they knew what to do with. This proved that the gay community shouldn’t be able to have any say at all about what they should do.
@@parrotconservative Well I guess at least you can count on white pride groups not doing DEI stuff . Until someone convinces them they should start instituting DNA testing ?
Our goal should not only be to just break Target and Anheuser Busch, but it must also be to obliterate ESG. The association with a high ESG score must become so toxic to a business that none of them want to be associated with the organization.
We need to somehow break the money system. As long as they control the banks, they can make all of us dance to their tune. Remember, they have already tested it on some people here in the US, and in Canada on the truckers: [They] just shut off your bank account, prevent you from getting ANY money. Evil? yes. Illegal? Yes, but what do they care.
I don't think the ESG score is a valid excuse. Especially if it's a Christian business. Nobody can come against you when God is on your side. You might struggle for a while, but you will overcome. Nobody who comes against God will last long.
Be aware you’re being fed information from years ago now ask yourself to by are you falling for the rage bait and why the daily wire would profit from rage bait.
I remember working for Chick-fil-A. It was fun, i was always told that i would hate working for fast food, but i liked working for them. Everyone was respectful to coworkers and guests alike.
The goal posts are always shifting. It’s methodical desensitization. Every time they get what they are clamoring for, they just shift to the next thing, advancing by degrees. There literally is no appeasing them.
@@PipeDreamerJacques I'm old enough to remember "Don't ask Don't tell". Now, it's trans Navy Rep for recruiter and a captive audience when he performs...or else.
I've worked at a Chick-fil-A for about 2 years now, and I have to say, NONE of this DEI stuff has EVER come up in my time working there. To be honest, it seems to me that they have this position just to check a box on their website
I never thought about it really at my job, but it's the same. I work for a Medicare company, and it says we value diversity and inclusion, but as workers, we don't have any classes or training regarding it. 🤷🏻♀️ it's never brought up. Maybe I'm not important enough to know about it? Lmao.
Same. Bro I'm straight white and male and I am not in anyway presenting anything to suggest I'm woke or anything of the like. And, I have yet to experience anything. The only thing is all my managers are female. That's it.
So what you said “I’ve worked for CFA for about 2 years” - does say a lot about CFA. The worker turnover in the fast food industry is horrendous. Two years? You’re a legacy employee! CFA must be doing something right, right? IMO they are THE best run FF company in the FF industry. Everyone seems to be enjoying their job. What appears to be long lines is not so much because the line moves. Quickly. When I ordered a chicken salad combo meal once, they came out to my table and said the CS had not been prepared and they asked me to order ANYTHING else on the menu at no charge. I offered to pay and they wouldn’t let me. On - the - house. I just don’t get it now. WHY go woke? No reason to do that.
I mean, except for the tiny detail that your CEO practically blew a black dude on tv and told white people they need to do the same. But yeah, your little team meetings at your specific store didn’t have this, which is cool, but I’m more concerned about your ceo blowing that black dude.
It still seems strange for a Christian company to check a box even just for appearance's sake. The whole world knows what that box means. Seems like a rather spineless thing to do just to get heat of their back IMO
I already wasn’t shopping at a lot of them because im boycotting china made products and trying to buy local or basically anything made anywhere else - Belgium, Morocco, Romania, just anywhere but China.
We literally stood in line for hours to support them after that initial push to boycott Chick fil a in 2012. Chick fil as across the country RAN OUT OF FOOD that day. I made an effort to eat chick fil a whenever I could and had to eat out anyway, and still they pander? Man eff them.
I’ve occasionally gone to eat at em, but since they were always closed on Sunday when I’d usually get fast food, so as a result I haven’t been in the last 2yrs, & I’ll take my $ elsewhere to the McDonald’s next door w cheaper food prices. Fk em
Read up on ESG, WEF, HRC...basically a bunch of rich and powerful progressive groups who either control the banks or have the ability to punish companies if they don't comply with their woke directives.
I make the same comment about other industries, like entertainment. Why can't these companies just provide a good product? I often wonder about the affects social media has on people. Have we lost the ability to differentiate a brand and a person? Social media represent personal and company accounts the same. Does that lack of difference translate to real life? Sometimes it doesn't feel like an issue with individuals. When many sources say the same thing simultaneously without an outcry from their customer/viewer base, it would appear to be propagandized messaging. It's hard to say, but it could also just be an issue of classic peer pressure. Company doesn't want to lose customers or its standing in an age of indignation. Just my 2 copper doubloons.
If there are "too many boycotts to keep track of" then maybe we need to have a larger discussion about the amount of beer, fast food and other shit we're overconsuming.
Asking the real questions, while that bud light shit was going on I was honestly more shocked people actually drank that shit to boycott it, every time I've heard people talk about bud light, it was to say how garbage the beer tastes.
I remember national Chick-fil-A day, where the lgb community said they would put them out of business, and everyone else decided to give them the most business in a single day than any restaurant has ever had in a whole year it seemed. Lines backed up what felt like miles. Was that not the hard proof they needed to hold tight to their morals, to never change and keep being an amazing company?? They're about to learn the same lesson that bud light and target learned. I hate to do it but I guess I'll be using the points I've saved up so far for that free sandwich and then uninstall the app and never eat there again until they start making the right choices again
Haha, I remember that too! I went to go and the line was 2 blocks long, had to skip because my lunch break was only so long, went a few days later though.
They were homophobic before, I didn't eat their food. Now they are not homophobic, and I will eat their food. Shed as many tears as you want, fascist. The world is changing for the better.
They aren't going to go out of business, just like Nike and Disney didn't go out of business when they went woke. Most people don't care if a company is woke, they don't care about all that political stuff, so long as the business gives them what they need, that's all people care about.
Oh small child you still can't grasp most concepts most of the world are not all that bad that's the equivalent of saying you're ashamed of being a girl or woman because a girl or woman did or said stupid on social media 11 year olds don't need phones god damn yall getting shit too early and then watch 5 things and think you know everything about people and the world
I am a current Chick-fil-A employee and my perspective on this is that, at least at this moment, anything that is woke is only corporate. The way that Chick-fil-A does business is that the individuals who start all the different stores have a lot of freedom to run their store their way. We have our own social media page, we have our own system for disciplining and rewarding employees, and we have our own wage rates and tiered system of leadership, all of which was from our stores director and not a corporate person. As an employee, I've been inside, or worked with people from, multiple Chick-fil-As in my local area and most of the employees and upper management are conservative people with religious beliefs. I just hope it stays that way. I love my job at Chick-fil-A and they are great to work for, I would hate for it to become like Starbucks.
I also work at CFA and I concur. I hate to see the woke virus even here especially bc it’s such a great place to work, but it’s not surprising in the least.
I used to work for CFA. Honestly anything that starts in corporate will be forced onto the franchisees eventually. I say boycott them and as many of the big corps as possible and be done with them all.
As a CFA employee (it’s my pleasure) I’m genuinely surprised and kinda shocked because one reason I chose to work here is because I thought wasn’t woke.
CFA at the executive, CORPORATE level has gone woke. Most of the franchisees and managers have been running their stores since long before that happened, and they (generally) are not woke and usually great people. But the EXECUTIVES have bent the knee to the mob. They are trying to be slow and subtle about it, though, because they know most of their customers are against it and would abandon them if they knew.
The saddest part is corporate doesn’t run the stores. The stores are run by people like my brother and sister in law. Only a small fraction of their earnings goes to corporate. We are a very conservative and religious family but they are scared because this boycott will most directly impact the operators and not corporate.
Yeah, I'm still going to Chick-fil-A just to spite how short-sighted conservatives are. They are going to end up crashing the economy if they keep boycotting every company and business that doesn't fall in line with their "conservative" beliefs. I'm honestly done with the whole "do not shop" list conservatives made because they put businesses on there for some of the most ridiculous and miniscule of reasons. I lean right, but this boycott rampage is getting ridiculous.
I feel sorry for your bro and his family. But there is a quote in the Bible “those who live by the sword, die by the sword”. It means that turning your back on the gay community, that loves fried chicken and Mac and cheese, has now led eventually to conservative Christians turning their back on you, because they are literally insane. Jesus in the Bible preached love, tolerance, turning the other cheek and that the meek shall inherit the earth. Yet somehow to Conservative Christians, this means hold “kill the gays” conferences where the biggest decision to be made was whether all gays should be killed now, or after they had been allowed to repent first. And lest you think this was some tiny fringe group, THREE of the Republican candidates for 2016 president spoke at their convention: Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and Arkansas governor Sarah Huckabee Sander’s dad, Mike Huckabee. All 3 spoke at a conference whose goal was to round up and execute every gay person in the country. This is what Conservative Christian Republicans stood for in 2016, and it’s only worse now. And any Christians who are not that filled with hate (are there any?) better start speaking out against the hate filled ones, because they have been allowed to hijack Christianity. I hope their hate does not cost your brother his business. I truly believe there are still good Christians out there, and maybe he can help lead them against the evil ones who want to hurt him, gays, and everyone who don’t bow down to them in every way.
Conservative and religious family my ass, if they are "scared". The Bible literally says "fear not" over 300 times. And that "love of money" quote. Details shmetails, I'm not going to Chick-fil-A ever again, Sunday or not!
@RLucas3000 I think you missed a chapter, and also who is calling for killing? As a conservative Christian gay people can do as they please. But they can't take the sanctity of marriage. That is a religious ceremony of a bond between a man and a woman. They should have all the same rights including civil union because we are all the same in the eyes of the lord. But man you seem to have missed the point. As far as those public officials that said those things at a conference, show me a man who calls for death of a group of people for being homosexual. And I'll show you a man that needs to be ridiculed and shamed for his actions.
The bottom line of this issue for me is that Chick-Fil-A already had a strong and stable customer base no matter if woke people were angry. They would have just needed to stay put and would have nothing to worry about in the foreseeable future. I guess they got greedy and wanted to expand so much that they had the need to cleanse reputation.
They were homophobic before, I didn't eat their food. Now they are not homophobic, and I will eat their food. Shed as many tears as you want, fascist. The world is changing for the better.
@@davidoelgoetz7735 Even that money will run out over time, though. That idea isn't sustainable. What can work, because it has worked forever, is just giving your customer what they want. You won't need outside investment if your customers are your investors.
No sure ostracizing their original customer base was a good idea, since they were original a Christian family friendly restaurant the woke still won't eat there and now neither will the Christians and families that sustained them.
It breaks my heart more than anyone else because I went to Sunday school with the Founder Truett Cathy (God rest his soul) AND this guy Dan who I played in the church band with. To see this and to know they have stooped to this hypocritical level is beyond words. Truett built Chick-fil-a with his bare hands and spent his whole life to do it to have his sons destroy it in only a matter of years. I can't even... You have to understand how humble Truett was. As kids we got to go to his house all the time. It was a TINY ranch home built in the 70s style, single floor. Of course he had a barn nearly the size of walmart filled with motorcycles and other toys for us to play with when we came over (horses too) but he understood the value of money, time, and family. It brings a tear to my eye to see that his sons do not. To see Dan go woke and bow to the deep state and turn his back on God is more painful than I ever thought possible.

I don’t understand why businesses can’t just stay out of social issues. Can I just go buy some Mr Clean at Target without having social issues marketed to me or go buy some waffle fries in peace?
@A_Rose By Any Other Name It's ESG. Companies stay alive by getting investing from Blackrock, which gives them money now, so they can earn a profit later. But Blackrock requires companies to abide by very strict Environmental, Social, and Governance guidelines (ESG) to get that money, or else they get nothing. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is the "social" part of that. If companies aren't "woke" enough, they don't get that Blackrock money. Most of these companies just assume people will just ignore the ESG pandering, like how they used to have rainbow logos for Pride Month every year, or won't think it's that big of a deal. But as more ESG demands have been made, companies have escalating the wokeness propaganda more and more every year. 2023 seems to be the breaking point and after the Bud Light fiasco, the general audiences have had enough, leading to mass boycotting and negative PR. A few companies suffered like this in the past, like Gillette, but it's now gotten so bad, that any company going overboard with the ESG stuff (which is all of them, if they want Blackrock to give them investing) is going to suffer so much immediate long-term resistance from the public, that the short-term ESG money isn't worth it. In other words, companies go woke to get $20-30 million from pushing ESG propaganda right now, but end up doing so much long-term damage, that its not worth it anymore. Get Woke, Go Broke.
They don't have a choice. Even if they are doing perfectly well without any politics, some woke bich will bring up the topic and how they answer will immediately change their future. Woke people FEEL THE NEED to tell everyone how great they are and that everyone must agree with them or they boycott and ostracise them. Conservatives can handle diversity of opinion and beliefs as long they aren't morally or fundamentally wrong and you don't force it down their throats. Think about it. There's a reason that everyone knows who is a vegan. That's because vegans can't just shut the f*ck up and eat their plants in peace. They have to tell others how great they are and how wrong everyone else is.
As a Chick-fil-A team lead, this has put me in a tricky spot at the moment, hopefully cfa gets back to their senses quickly, because I absolutely love working there

Brett, I like your content, I respectfully have to partially disagree. The only part of Chick fil A that went woke was the corporate part. It’s not the restaurants themselves, each restaurant is privately owned. They all don’t necessarily believe in what corporate believes, most of them are Christians conservatives as well
I got to thinking about it. BennyZ, People like you make the world go round, I hope you know that. I’ve had some real shitty days and terrible experiences when I go to “inclusive” chains like Starbucks; Long waits, nasty employees, terrible attitudes. When I step into a Chick Fil A, it’s always the opposite of that. Lots of people happy to be off from work or whatever and just stopping by for some good food. The employees give great customer service and make you feel welcome. CFA also doesn’t fly rainbow flags in their restaurants and they keep everything apolitical. That’s a real inclusive environment and now that “they’re capturing the hard point”, I hope CFA can continue to have that charm in the future.

Exactly. The left is at least able to target fire a company until it bends the knee. Conservative boycotts fail because they are more like a shotgun scatter shot. Reason why the budlite boycott is working is everyone is on the same page.
The left boycotts everything that we do so now they get a taste of their own medicine and know what it's like to lose people and places they care about.im just glad we are starting to fight back.
I’ve been working at my Chick-fil-A in my hometown for about a year and my orientation was very centered on Truett Cathy’s morals and ideals. "To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A." That is our mission statement and everyday I see it implemented at my workplace. This job provides me with so much and I hate to see corporate go down this path.
I live in LA. There is always an insane line for CfA. None of my gay friends boycott CfA. I did have to run into Target a few days ago and it was empty, which I’ve never seen. I think Target might be a combination of a boycott and the fact that most items are locked up now.

I'm not in the USA and have never been to Chick-Fil-A, but I knew of the company and had an image of their backstory. This is so sad; I've been saying for some time now that if you're working for an ESG company, it's time to update your résumé and get a new job. Therefore it obviously applies here as well. Having an DEI executive has destroyed the reputation built up in my mind. I can't sort out my feeling here, because everything about DEI is a disaster for hard working employees -- regardless of their personal life choices. Qualifying for a job because you enable a manager to complete some checkbox is so wrong on too many levels.
Agreed, Chick fil a has been doing this. That being said, ESG has more control than just publicly traded. The ESG credit score is like a mean girls club, where if you don't tow the line, you are ostracized. This means funding, banking, etc. It has more underlying economic effects than they let on, and unfortunately I've seen many companies taking part that none of us would assume would ever do it. It is all about clout and stomping on the toes of those who aren't at the table playing footsies with globalists.
I work for a Fortune 15 company and in 2020 our CEO did an all hands meeting where he lamented how he understood racism because they used to not get picked for basketball games. It was surreal.
What a ma-roon. One can practice and get better at baseball, or play a different sport, or do music or engineering or something else. If you suck at everything, you can still be a DEI consultant.
I worked at Chick-fil-A about four years ago and it was absolutely evident that there was wokeness present in the corporate culture which I was surprised to find when I started working there. I guess they were hoping to appease the woketards while still keeping the "christian" image and their consumer base. Well we see where that's gotten them, I say don't give them a dime until they stop bowing down to communists.
It's sounding like it's different at every store. I haven't heard any of this at the store I work at, but it's sounding like that's not the same experience everyone has. Why can we not just have the common value of serving like Jesus served and follow his example? We don't need any of this DEI crap if we just follow that example.
@@margaretbush actually, if you have ever worked at a Chick-fil-A, you would know that the stores are owned and operated by either families or individuals. D = not diversity but conformity E = not equity but favoritism I = not inclusion but rejection E = not environment but extraction S = not society but deconstruction G = not governance but greed One way to see through the smoke screens is to look at what Blackrock has been doing in Ukraine for the last few years and what they intend to do there in the next few years.
So I did a deep dive on Chick-Fil-A and they’re planning on expand to the rest of Europe and want to go public. For reference they’re the 3rd biggest fast food chain behind McDonald’s and Starbucks but only have a few overseas locations in the UK. Even if they stayed private (which I doubt), they’ll need Blackrock and Vanguard for property and building that’s why they’re doing all the ESG score stuff so they can dominate the world with their delicious chicken.
They want to go public? Wow is their quality going to go down then. Their method of selling one store to an individual and monitoring quality has been a trademark. Going public will be a disaster. A shame really, and makes me wonder why they want to mess up that much.
This is spot on. The only way to secure large loans to expand and/or go public is to bow to the ESG, DEI mob. So unfortunate. I sure did like their chicken. Popeye's for me going forward
This was a great comment! Thank you for breaking this down so well. Really makes complete sense and is sad to witness. I remember when I was 16, our youth pastor would hand out coupons for free chicfila meals. Back when they only existed in the malls.
I respect the distinction you are making, but if corporate is doing it, it WILL filter down, and it will become a requirement for the individual stores to keep their franchise at some point. Buying from the local stores still gives a cut to corportate as well, so we would still be funding ESG and the woke. Chick Fil A is my favorite fast food. This will really hurt. But unless the individual store near me is willing to come out publically against this, they are part of the problem through their silence. They have a choice to sell their business and start something else. Staying in an ESG machine is still a choice, ergo responsible. It stinks :(
franchise owners will soon be selling until its uniform. then one day they'll stop selling chicken because its used as a derogatory joke with black peoples choice of food.
I agree with you Brett. I'm a christian and conservative I loved that Chick-fil-A, kind and values the used to stand on. Instead of the 3% that want to destroy on regard. If they bend the knee or not. Keep up the great work you and your team. Take care and GOD bless you and your families.

Congrats on you for championing against basic human rights!! Here’s a trophy made of shit to represent what a crappy stance you supported (probably still support). Pull that cowboy hat lower to cover your eyes; your vision will probably be less tainted by your anti gay bull.
@Hi Hi You make a lot of assumptions there, so many. First, the implication was that the girls in the cover were children. That's sickening. Besides, I was truly appalled when I heard that children were being abused in that way. So please stop assuming you know anything about me. You don't.
Whats it matter if 2 people get married that are the same gender? This cou try was made on religious freedom and part of that means that if marriage is part of the government then it cannot be ruled by religious law. Being against gay marriage for religious reasons, is just a violation of the constitution. And yes I will assume it's religious reasons.
@@Ben9263Thurber he’s just pointing out that you can’t say that the reason for your stance is religion if that same religion is literally abusing children. Second, you didn’t respond at all to anyone’s clear statements about how your anti gay rhetoric is bull at all.
Saw this vid on my break at the chick fil I work at, and I can say there is no hint of dei being pushed. I know the owner and he is a conservative Christian who does not express wokeness at all. We do not favor certain employees over others but are all treated the same. It is sad to see that corporate is being influenced but I know that each location has an amount of rules they set themselves as owners. I do not see local owners giving into dei easily. I’m in fact now going to ask the owner what he thinks of this. Thank you brett.
I recall going by my local Chik-Fil-E to get a sandwich in support of them during the 2017 Alphabet People boycott. The line of cars to get into the drive thru was at least 2 long blocks long. The parking lot and nearby streets were full of cars ((most unusual) and the line into the restaurant was about a block long. I didn't have the time to wait so I left. The 2017 Woke boycott was an embarrassing failure the media worked very hard to cover up.
Just about every single corporation that I've ever worked with/for has had DEI for the past 5-10 years. It's gonna be hard to boycott them all. If you want to boycott companies, I'd suggest boycotting the ones that treat their employees like trash. (Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

ChicFilA constantly get under hot water because of who the hire as managers or business executives or who owns their outlets. I would wait for their response on this matter. I remember one time one of the managers in one of the outlets tried to promote LGBTQ stuff and got backlashed, come to find out that man went against company policies and was trying to promote his personal agendas and he got fired. I heard this story from a friend whose daughter was working at Chickfil-a at that time few years ago. I just hope it’s the same situation, someone trying to bring them down again and not the company trying to promote this.
I got in a fender bender in the Chick-fil-A drive thru today, I yawned and took my foot off the pedal and bent my front plate in half, she didn’t have even a scratch But I blame Chick-Fil-A because in typical woke fashion it’s not my fault
I don't believe they're doing it to appease a group. I believe it's top down from outside forces purchasing shares in order to manipulate the country through forced ESG scores in order to help it flourish. There's something very big and very malicious going on behind these businesses. They don't just choose to shoot themselves in the foot with no way out. It's easy to just say they're stupid, but hard to believe. That goes without mentioning Blackrock, BRIC, and WEF.
Agreed. It is just so absurd. They are openly crushing themselves. Became even more obvious after Bud Light, and they still do that. I don't know what it is, but there is something else going on.
@@jointser1008 It's a Trojan Horse. They push ESGs by shaming people into thinking they're doing the right thing. Meanwhile, the rules they really want to attach to the ESGs come a bit later, after they've gotten everyone to accept ESG scores as a thing. I'll give you an example: They tell you hate speech is bad, without clearly defining what hate speech is. So, since you think hate speech is bad (or what you think is hate speech), you support an ESG score system because it'll only affect other people, not you. You'll never have your bank account shut off due to hate speech, because you're a good person. Of course, once the system is in place, then they start moving the goalposts (remember that "two weeks to flatten the curve" soon became "This is the new normal; just shut up, stay home, and take the shots"), and something you're saying, that no one with any common sense would think is terrible, becomes categorized as hate speech, so now, you're in trouble, and it's all because you accepted a system that you thought was going to be used only against someone else. That's why they divide everyone into groups, so they can shift the goalposts and come after one group at a time. Divide and conquer. Right now, people on the Left are like, "Yeah, go get them Republicans!" But once ESG scores are firmly in place, the people on the Left will be the target, because the point of the system is to take full control over everyone. You will own nothing and be happy. You will be happy, because anyone who voices displeasure will not be tolerated. That's the ultimate goal. Sorry if I ruined your day.
Literally on my break at Chick-fil-A and I see this 😂. The store I work at is actually a very positive environment. We have gay employees, lots of Christians, people of every political standing...And somehow we're all friends. It's great.
@@Freedomfighter20251 Like the video said, it's been around for years. And it's really just corporate stuff, the individual restaurants don't have to deal with it because they each have an owner, usually Christian. As part of my online training there was a section on dei, which was annoying, but I moved on and forgot about that entirely until now. It's been chill the entire time I've been here.
I got fired from Chick-fil-a bout five months ago because I openly talked about my beliefs among my coworkers ( in a appropriate manner, not in front of customers, ect ) which they didn't like very much 😂
I honestly love Chick Fil A so much this was the last thing I'd ever thought would happen to a chicken restaurant... what's next, McDonald's? We're gonna need a list of places we're boycotting.
Basically everything...80% of corporations are woke and will destroy America with wokeism or collapse the economy(no guns needed just useful idiots, look at bud lit took one woke women).
McDonald's is and has always been extremely woke and is also terrible for you. It will literally take years off your life for eating it and cause several mental and physical health problems.
I knew a girl just MONTHS ago who quit CFA because they didn't let her dye her hair so she wasn't able to be "authentic". They aren't woke and not even close. Y'all that think they are just need to stop being Twitter zombies.
She could dye her hair, just not present her dyed her which could be instead covered by a wig, a religious head scarf, etc. Superficial things like hair dying is not the same as being woke or based, being woke or based is based on your values and beliefs. CFA is woke on a corporate level, the franchise owners (not the same as corporate) can individually implement conservative rules if they want such as no hair dying.
@A if they were actually woke like everyone is crying about then there's no way she wouldn't be allowed to have dyed hair. Dyed hair doesn't mean woke, but anyone that is in the woke camp will definitely allow that. Imagine a manager at Starbucks telling an employee she couldn't have dyed hair. That manager would be forced into "sensitivity training" and/or fired. All chick fil a is doing is saying "even though we morally disagree with homosexuality, we still care about those people like we care about everyone else"
@A you clearly don't understand woke. If corporate were then they would never allow freedom like that to individual operators. It's not a franchise. Corporate can take a store from an "owner" anytime they want. I worked there for years and my brother is in their operator program. I know how this works.
Lol...having a dress code doesn't make them decent. They caved completely to the woke mafia years ago...abandoning companies like the Salvation Army to instead donate small fortunes to BLM and child grooming. Calling someone else a zombie when you can't think of anything other than how your neighbor's brain would taste with ketchup is pretty rich.

I made it a point when they were first being boycotted to eat at their restaurants whenever I ate out. And I was single, living in my own place so that was all the time.
And now that you don't support their homophobia anymore, I as a gay man will be supporting their inclusion. One less nazi to be a customer, one more good man to be a customer. Bye. You wont be missed.

I wonder if when the backlash first started, if the CEO father let his son take over with “new fresh ideas”? Seems like a big change happened… I hope they respond with some dignity and family values in light of recent boycotts
As a Christian its hard to see this happening, i will still eat Chick Fil A, but i wish that the CEO would stick with his gut about the correct morals. People would then flock to Chick Fil A and make them stronger again
As a former Chick-Fil-A employee, everything you said is true! This company does not need a DEI!
Chick Fil A is doomed🥲
When gays and lesbians boycotted Chik-Fil-A because the CEO supported traditional marriage then Chik-fil-A got more business then they knew what to do with. This proved that the gay community shouldn’t be able to have any say at all about what they should do.

Wow a company that puts drugs in their chicken does that? No way
I can believe it. Leftists are trying to destroy this country.
A Christian restaurant wtf
I mean, look at Bud Light.
ESG is not an organization, it’s a policy that was adopted by Wall St. to push an agenda.
Absolutely
I don't think the ESG score is a valid excuse. Especially if it's a Christian business. Nobody can come against you when God is on your side. You might struggle for a while, but you will overcome. Nobody who comes against God will last long.
Be aware you’re being fed information from years ago now ask yourself to by are you falling for the rage bait and why the daily wire would profit from rage bait.

Yeah. I wanted to work there. I was interviewed but I didn't get a call back or anything 🥲
Oh well. I guess that's ok now
Anyone that's been paying attention for more than 15 minutes is aware that there is no appeasing that crowd. You can never be woke enough.
It's because they're communists, and just like Stalin era soviet communists, they'll send their own to the gulags and executions for not being enough.
These corporations just don't learn!
@pauliexcludedable I can.
The goal posts are always shifting. It’s methodical desensitization. Every time they get what they are clamoring for, they just shift to the next thing, advancing by degrees. There literally is no appeasing them.

Damn, all these boycotts are saving me money lately and pushing me towards better products. I welcome it.

Because they want their ESG score.
If there are "too many boycotts to keep track of" then maybe we need to have a larger discussion about the amount of beer, fast food and other shit we're overconsuming.

That's why I can't participate in these boycotts. I don't go to any of these places anyway

@@jonwwillis did this commentary you feel like a bad ass?
BOYCOTT Chick-fil-A. Done. If they don't do what I say I'm not gonna be their investor or consumer
Done with them
I also work at CFA and I concur. I hate to see the woke virus even here especially bc it’s such a great place to work, but it’s not surprising in the least.
I will still continue to go to CFA. Conservatives are fighting this war the wrong way. Friendly fire is not the way to go about this.
(It’s my pleasure) 😭😂😂😂
CFA at the executive, CORPORATE level has gone woke. Most of the franchisees and managers have been running their stores since long before that happened, and they (generally) are not woke and usually great people. But the EXECUTIVES have bent the knee to the mob. They are trying to be slow and subtle about it, though, because they know most of their customers are against it and would abandon them if they knew.
Same here!

IKR. Bringing politics to your business makes everything so divisive. You lose customers from one side or the other, or both.
They have to now as more investors are only investing in ethical corporations.
@A_Rose By Any Other Name
It's ESG.

I have worked at a Chick-Fil-A in Utah for a year now, and as a teen I have had a wonderful experience. I went to orientation and learned about the morals and values of our customer service and instantly wanted to be a part of it. I don't get paid as much at Chick-Fil-A as some other places might offer, but that doesn't matter to me. We are a but our greater goal as always been customer experience. I love working at Chick-Fil-A and I love seeing the countless smiles me and my coworkers leave, I love eating chicken, and I love people. Come in, eat the chicken, smile, and come back soon. Simple steps. This does not need to be an argument of boycotting. Please stop by Chick-Fil-A because I want to make your day better no matter who you are. Thanks

Man, *Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated* is getting pretty strong, huh?
Yup
Correct.
What does any of this have to do with selling chicken to people?
If they go public, that's the death knell for sanity & wokeness will reign supreme.
Thank you for that info.. now it makes sense. As always follow the money.

Chick-fil-A corporate is very different from the actual stores that are owned by community members. I won't be boycotting Chick-fil-A
You have to be liberal if you’re gonna keep eating what’s now woke chicken

@Hi Hi You make a lot of assumptions there, so many. First, the implication was that the girls in the cover were children. That's sickening. Second, I'm very much against anyone harming children at any time. Since I'm not Catholic, I don't have to worry about that. Besides, I was truly appalled when I heard that children were being abused in that way.

Whats it matter if 2 people get married that are the same gender? @@Ben9263Thurber he’s just pointing out that you can’t say that the reason for your stance is religion if that same religion is literally abusing children. Saw this vid on my break at the chick fil I work at, and I can say there is no hint of dei being pushed. I know the owner and he is a conservative Christian who does not express wokeness at all.

I heard this story from a friend whose daughter was working at Chickfil-a at that time few years ago. @@jointser1008
It's a Trojan Horse.
