I could not see what spacers you used on the rock sliders because you fast forwarded that part. I am confused about which spacers go where and there seem to be so many! Great video though!
Great content. Not sure if I saw it, but if you raise the rear wheels it makes getting those factory skid plate screws off the side of the frame easier! Turns out one of mine was stripped and had to wedge the factory plate while trying to back that screw out. Hand install those 3 threaded spacers, i broke one of the threaded studs using the impact driver. Took a drill bit, two bolts and a hacksaw to re-tap the spacer with a threaded insert so I could reinstall it back on the chassis. 30 min install.... lol nope!!
Just got a aluminum 6 piece set from ricochet to put on my 2020 Teryx 4. I was going to go with the UHMW material, but wanted to save some money, and I think the aluminum will be fine for my kind of riding, I hope.😁
I think your right, but when this video was made it was correct. Seems Kawasaki updated both the instructions and install video. The install video and instructions were horrible at that time. Either way mine works just fine. 👍
@@DerangedOffRoad Also the instructions say that it co.es with wired remote for winch in the instructions and it is part number 7 and it was not in box so I called Warn and then sent me the wired remote for free
the only thing i don't like is the power to weight ration especially after adding on accessories, but since i've never test drove one i can't really say, i have to go by what your opinions are. i would think with the extra weight of the accessories it would need a turbo.
It really has been great overall for power. A turbo would be awesome for the dunes but all the trails and rock crawling we will do the krx will handle it just fine. -Garrett
I did drive it...I felt it was underpowered for me. I’m 80% dunes (YXZ) but it’s not bad. It did have an incredibly smooth engine and clutch/belt engagement. It’s probably one of the best rock crawler on the market...so it depends on where you ride.
DUNE YXZ yep and we do 90% trails and rocks now that I have this. Also one thing we both noticed for stock suspension it is awesome and going through the chop at the dunes you don’t even hardly feel it.
Just got back from Windrock with my new KRX over Christmas. Incredible power, suspension and ground clearance. Put 300 miles on her. Did extremely well. Ride is a little stiff compared to my rzr. Going to do a little tuning to hopefully get a softer ride.
I’m still running the original parts. Almost 2800 miles and no issues on those parts. I’ll probably take it in soon to get them changed out though. -Garrett
When it’s parked and motor is off it will be towards the top of the glass. When motor is running you won’t see any oil in the glass. Completely normal for a KRX. -Garrett
I also added the alternator and I do not know why Kawasaki did what they did but you have no choice but to pull off engine side cover because behind that star plate is a cap bolt and you can not fit new collar and bolt through hole. Hope Kawasaki fixes that but with the alternator installed no more head light flashing at idle from stator It puts out 65 amps
@@DerangedOffRoad I thought about leaving my stock plates on too. They are just thin plastic so I guess it wouldn't really hurt. I ended up pulling off the stock plates though so the Kawasaki aftermarket plates would sit more flush. Thanks for the install video.
Just found them! Thanks again

Look up the instructions on the KRX website. After this vid they changed a few things up.
Thanks for the suggestion but I was unable to find any directions on their website?
That is a really nice and well thought out skid package. Kawasaki continues to impress. Nice edit of the install guys! 👍😎
We need to go for a ride soon! -Garrett
Agreed! I am in NEED of some throttle therapy. It just has to stop raining for a minute. 😡🤣👍😎
That music was so so much louder than the voices. Dang it.

Great video guys! Your channel is growing fast...I can see why!
Great content. Constructive criticism, the loud music in the breaks is really annoying. Caused me to check out at 9:08 in.
Yeah we keep going back and forth on everything, it’s hard to get it right for everyone 👍 -Garrett
Yeah, I don't mind the music, it's just that it's 10 times louder than the regular audio.
The Nice Thing Is no Dead Battery ever!!!!!!!!
Keep the videos coming guys. Nice job.
Its In The Instructions That You Remove Both Factory Skid plates before Installing the rear skid Plate Page 2 of Instructions......

Makes it so much easier to install too.

I see you had the heater on in the garage, must have been chilly, what maybe 70? Hahaha
Actually it was 68 to be exact 👍
@@DerangedOffRoad Ha.. not bad. Love the content guys
Thanks for watching!
I noticed you had the old front lower control arms. Did Kawasaki upgrade your car to the new design? Great video BTW

If you want a real skid plate go to trail armour Have used them in Moab for years . Much stronger than any factory setup for any brand of machine
They aren't making them for the KRX yet. I believe this 1/2 " HMW kit will probably compare to whatever they come up with.

Yiour oil level looked really low, or fresh oil really high.

Would love to see the Grave's motorsports slip on and ECU reflash. Probably along with everyone else interested in this machine.
Yes, just waiting and making sure any bugs are worked out first. 👍 -Garrett

Btw the plastic rock sliders do not work on the side i ripped mine off so I would get nerf bars
Why did you leave the factory rear skid plate? Have you had any issue with them both installed?
Nope, just for extra protection and it has worked great. -Garrett

You installed that skid plate wrong the rear factory skid plate are removed and discarded
With the steel factory skid plate you added a plastic one. I'm surprised you didn't put on plywood also.
It goes over the steel one and helps you slid over the rocks while rock crawling. -Garrett
