Nice good job. I just bought a 2023. I added that same Kawasaki Sport roof. I added the full glass windshield from Super ATV but I struggled to get it to align. I have those same mirrors and also extended them using a piece of hard rubber and a longer bolt however when you are going fast they are useless as they vibrate like crazy.
Yea, that was my biggest complaint about removing it. The power loss I could deal with, but I was chewing through my brake pads way too fast without it
@@brennanschram1143 I just picked up my new KRX this week. It only has 2 miles in it just from driving around the neighborhood. I’m watching as many videos and reading as many forum posts as I can. I got a blue one with no accessories but boxes have been showing up at my house all week. I want to get it all set up before I take it out. I previously had a 2016 Wolverine R spec. This is a huge upgrade
Yes I forgot to mention in the pro xp it has the duel battery installed. The Kawasaki krx does not, we have not found a solution to adding a second battery in it. Thank you for the suggestion
@@rayneventures6991 do y’all run the the duel batter kit from Polaris or did y’all go with another brand I have a pro ordered to replace my 1k and saw they now sell a kit but it doesn’t come with the battery and no link to one I assume it would just be the same battery that’s in it but obviously want know until I receive my mine to check the Fitment
I bought the light bar for looks and for the purpose of going out at night. We have only done a few night rides, so personally I would not go with it again for the price.
I’m trying to figure what your talking about with the water issues coming ins the front firewall. 2300 miles on mine and always blasting through water. Never noticed any water coming in. Also don’t worry about the alternator being submerged. Mines been fine.
In the front fender area where there is a seam, the water goes straight in. If you would like we could send you a few pictures. It was a nightmare before we covered the area with rubber
@@kimberlyclements5753 Hello, We purchased some 1/8 inch thick sheets of rubber on ebay. We then took some spray adhesive and push pins to cover most of the area with the rubber. It has helped alot! When you look in the fender area, you will notice where the plastic and metal come together is the where most of the water seemed to come in
I apologize about the late response. I thought my comment posted. Yes we used existing push pin holes and then drilled new ones as well. It worked well, help stop the mud and water coming in the front.
Hey, was wondering about your windshields you guys are using with wipers. I just bought my first machine and haven't been out on the trails yet. I live in the Jamestown area so I'll be on the same type of terrain. Concerned about scratching with the wiper and how to avoid it. Thanks for the info guys, been learning a lot. Kinda a dumb question but I was wondering how you wash your machines, powerwasher, or the hose and a bucket or both.
Hey great question. So as for the windshields, the wipers were a must for us. The pro xp has a glass windshield and the krx has a poly one. Both of our windshields are scratched, not sure if it from branches and rocks hitting them or if its from the wipers. If I had to guess its a combination of the two. Unfortunately there is no way of stopping sticks and rocks from scratching the windshield so we honestly didn't care if the wipers caused a few extra ones. I know that probably doesn't make you feel better, but the wipers are a must. As for cleaning the machines we both pressure wash/ use the garden hose to get 95% of the dirt off, then we use a foam cannon with a microfiber sponge to go over it again. After that we use a leaf blower to get most of the water off, and they use a speed shine on our plastics.
@@rayneventures6991 Awesome thanks! hopefully, we will see you guys some time on the trails. Kim and I are retired and we just moved down here to TN from WI this last spring. We did a lot of hiking and now we are stepping it up to the next level with our new toy or as they say in this area buggy.
@@rayneventures6991 We went with the Polaris RZR XP100 Premium/Blue. I'm getting pretty excited. Hoping to get a break in the weather soon. I was supposed to pick it up on Thursday however they ordered the wrong windshield. I'll be picking it up on Tuesday/Wednesday. It's not like buying a car and 2 hours later you drive away with your car. Then all the upgrades you have to purchase, Bumpers, heavy-duty skid plate, windshield, mirrors, side-mounted rock bars, back window netting, signal lights, roof, spare tire and wheel, and mounts for all that stuff. I'm sure I'll have to purchase more after watching all the stuff that you guys have done to your machines.
Yeah, the springs on my mine are sagging already and I've only driven it for around two weeks..All the extra weight from the Accessories really add up. i'm only around 15 minutes away from Shock Therapy, going to make an appointment to get my shocks revalved and Springs. Check out my KRX on my RUclips channel. Not much of a channel just upload things once in a while.
Take it back or sell it. Ur definitely not happy. Seems like u need like a 100 grand moded after market everything. Ur totally not satisfied. I’m more of a explorer so it’s perfect for me. But ur younger and u need a 100 grand racer. But it’s good for older folks like myself. Thanks for the review. And ur prob right on the short falls of it not being a race ready hell cat.
What? Are you sure you are commenting on the correct video? Your comment does not make sense. There is very little aftermarket on this KRX. Did you watch the video?
The only aftermarket items on the KRX. Turn signal kit.
