Rafi had a crystal clear and flexible voice. He amazes me of his talent to mold his voice according to the actor he sang for. This requires scientific analysis and enormous talent. Naushad sahab has never deviated from Indian music. Absolutely pure. In my opinion, I find MughleAzam one of the world's top 3 movies ever made. The movie is a text book as well as a reasearch lab of acting.

Contribution of Naushad Saheb to the Indian music cannot be forgotten! Only few musicians like Naushad,C Ramachandra,Madan Mohan ,Anil Vishwas,Khemcgand Prakash,Shankar Jaikishan,Roshan,Vasant Desai ,Laxmikant Pyarelal utilized tradtional Indian Classical Music in films in simplified way and succeeded also! Otherwise it would have been very difficult task to bring complicated Classical raagdari music to the lips of general people! Their experiments ,efforts,contributions to reach traditional raag dari music -from classes to the masses cannot be forgotten and will remain eternal in the Indian film music history! Now after seeing the current film music scenario,we are deeply,intensively feeling the absence of these great Music stalwarts ! The rich tradition of Indian Raagdari music must be kept alive by the present Musicians.
I learnt Urdu from a Christian Priest in London. He could sing ghazals. Since then i fell in love with the language. I also learnt that Urdu came into being the language of Royals and elites considering that Hindi and other languages in India lacked eloquence, etiquettes and presentation. I'm so impressed that Tom Alter speaks the languages so well. I'm also glad to know how Naushad loved the language. Unfortunately both of them are not anymore with us. May their souls rest in peace.
