    I am new to this. Should you always outline the parts of your design with a darker color?

      I'd say it depends on the nature of the design. For example if you're hooking a landscape of a sky over a field you probably don't want to have harsh dark lines dividing the elements. But there are other designs where that kind of outlining can look great.

      Lots of painters under paint, and then some of that is left, outlining elements in a painting. A rusty colour is often seen, but I’m sure there are others.
