When I was 19 years old, I saw Jennifer in Summer of 42. It touched my heart particularly the last scene and the language of the letter. Today I am 70. I still watch this movie.
Thank you Governor Huckabee. I just love the guests you have on your show. It is a sad time when so few in Hollywood speak out on the sanctity of life and help our veterans in such a tangible life changing way. I have lost interest and am fully disgusted with all hollywood has to offer our youth and our society as a whole. Virtually all the "stars" are so into themselves and insecure, that have nothing better to do than get cosmetic surgeries, post instagram nudies, and criticize those who got them where they are, and critisize our great Country. Maybe there are more like Jennifer O'Neill and they just never get air time, but I don't think so. They have really become a very sick bunch.
Great she acknowledged Robert Duvall as a wonderful actor. This guy was a quiet, gifted professional who quietly convinced his audience that his role was real and meaningful.
I would absolutely love to see Jennifer O’Neill get together with Gary Grimes again in a “Summer of 42” reunion. Couldn’t somebody make this happen? It would be absolute joy to see them as they are now.
Brilliant. wish you could have these people on for longer. Please work on creating an extention to your show... This is to me is the real successor to the late night show. This is what it needs to become even if the name remains huckabee. Perhaps expand your show to be like that? lovely as you are, I am just saying that we need to replace these jimmy falons and colberts. We need to take the torch that they stole to use to just burn the whole house down. Hope this message gets to someone. you guys are amazing and many of my generation of 26 year olds LOVE YOU and your show as well as the old late night show guests and the famous host we all know and love.
